Isn't it ironic that most people buying these happen to be in more populated and urban states which would suggest a reduced need for night vision? Seems to me like the blacked out dark midwest would yield more impressive results with these oculars.

Amazon's reviews on the Elf are good, but it uses an IR lamp to see, so it's only good to about twenty feet. You can't drive with this thing.

Though illegal, these are good for deer hunting.
