She also hates daughters job, because of the hours.

She likes son's girlfriends future job. She just go into pharmacy school for next year. The fact you spend all your time on the phone with insurance companies and dealing with old people at the counter , means nothing to mom.

Then she wonders why I don't like to call.

When she finds out he can't come home for christmas for 6 years, then she will gripe about that.

She also compared the 50 hours a week she worked in the dime store during the depression to a professional job that has 60 to 90 hours a week for years on end.

The fact that most of the kids take a year off and DO go back means nothing to her.

Why won't he be able to come home for Christmas for six years?

It's so silly. It's not a hard test at all. I mean, it's appropriately challenging, but it's not HARD. Tests just make me so stupid. Which is weird; usually I work well under pressure.

Some people are just like that. You'll do fine, just relax! I'm glad to know it is just challenging and not HARD. I've got a GRE in my future whenever I get my act together and make some decisions.

Lucky! My sister can learn anything as long as it's in a book. Me I need to see it done. She got all kinds of scholarships, she has a good job and a nice house, and she is skinny and taller!
