KtC, I have the golden shovel now too so if I come to your town soon remind me to do your charm thing. I think it was the same as mine, to bury money and grow a money tree? If mine is dead I may need one of you to plant another one for me too!

My son got the game for his DS the other day and already his town is overrun with weeds, you should see it. He thought there would be more interaction between the DS version and the Wii version, but there's not really much you can do. You can use your DS as a "suitcase" to take your Wii character over to someone else's house (in real life, that is) and then you can zap your character into their game and town. But the DS version is fun too, even though it's a lot like the Wii one. There really aren't many differences. It was funny when he bought it, a 20-something cool looking guy sold it to us and he was going on about how awesome the game is. hoho

Shan or Ktc - do either of you have the mama cat in your town? The baby is in mine, but I'm going to ignore her until I know one of y'all (who has t he mom) is online so that she doesn't disappear again...

I have the mama cat...she was gone when we visited each other's towns but now she's back again today. Just standing around not doing much but whining about her kitten.

I got my second story put on! It looks cool. But now I have to decorate two floors with very little options. And my 2nd floor needs a lamp!

I paid off my mortgage and got mine today. I need a lamp too! I didn't do much in there - was only in for a few min. just enough time to see the baby cat.

I might be able to play later tonight, but it won't be until at least 8:30 (central), probably later. I may also get to play a little Saturday morning. This week has been crazy and with all our Father's Day stuff going on this weekend, I may not get to play much at all. The mama cat is still in my town, not acting too upset that her kitten is missing.

I haven't turned my wii on in two weeks. . . I'm working until 8pm central, but I'll either sleep or veg-out as soon as I get home. Maybe I'll try to pull the weeds in my town. I don't have my upstairs (obviously). Still if I am on I'll open my gate (or check to see if yours is open).

Well I checked in on AC a couple times this weekend, didn't play long but the mama cat seems to be gone. kdc, is the kitten still in your town?

I logged in and cleaned up all the weeds in my town today. Not so tired in the afternoons now.

I finally logged in and cleaned up my town. TONS of weeds. All of my hybrid and other flowers are dead. And I have a SERIOUS case of bedhead, which my neighbors loved telling me to go to the salon to fix.

I'm not staying away from my town that long

For me the game is kinda getting boring a little now...I'm ready for Animal Crossing 2 haha. I have the fountain, lighthouse, the biggest house you can get. There's nothing else to work for. The only thing is when the camel comes to town you can try to get rare carpets/walls from her. It's kinda neat to see the autumn changes, and the snow will be fun for a while, but I've caught most of the fish and bugs. Let me know if anyone wants to explore each other's town sometime!

Wow, I stalled out when I had to start sleeping more. But I remember getting to that point with the original. I was hoping for more from the city. Oh well.

No, there isn't much in the city, and I think it would be more fun if there were "online" activities there to do with friends. Maybe in the next one.

I am due in January. The original due date was the 15th, but the ultrasound measurements (and now my stomach measurements) moved it to the 25th. Still, my girls were early and I've had a couple instances of really bad contractions, so . . . I'd put my money on not being pregnant on the 25th of January.

Sometimes you just can't tell. I wasn't sure I wanted to know.

I haven't played any of the MySims games. I have played the full games, but not for the wii.

Well it is killing their older daughter (she's 8 going on 16) not to know. She has already laid out the procedure for how she will give everybody the big news. First she will tell her dad if it's a boy or girl, then she will call her grandparents, on and on. So after this last ultrasound they just told her it was a boy. haha So now she'll either have more time to get used to the idea (she wants it to be a girl) or she'll be pleasantly surprised later on.

I guess that is one way to do it! I'm kinda glad we found out, I was having a hard time not buying little dresses and whatnot since I'm so used to having girls. Also my 2 year old took the news really hard, she wanted a little sister. I think it's better that we got that out of the way before the baby gets here.

There is also a new game out called MySims Agents, it looks kinda cool.

I'm sure this is old news for some, but if you are a Netflix user, you may just find a new use for your wii (assuming you don't have an HD player that you are already using for this purpose).

Netflix will soon be available for the wii. You will be able to play your instant play through your wii directly onto your TV.
