Ambisound, hmmm... these are incredible. Not sure about this one in particular, but I remember when these first came out... really nice, and saves tons of space.

Bought one of these for my parents and a Harmony 550. They love it. It sounds great.

I had one of these when I moved into a new place where running wires for surround sound would be hard. It's a quality unit, but it's no replacement for surround sound. If surround is important for you, skip this. If you want a DVD player with great audio, this might be the one.

Based on the first 4 sales and the gray line, they have about 90 of these to move...Get to it wooters!!

how do you get surround sound out of 1 bar? i'm confused. (as usual)

i heard one like this a while ago and thought it performed really well... if i didn't already have a monster system, i'd definitely jump on this.. great space saver, better than average sound quality

Boy is that weird. I did the exact same thing. No-brainer setup and the 'rents can't tell the difference between Ambisound and the real deal.

Last woot-off I saw, I missed the Big Ol' Codpiece during my commute home from work. *sadface*

We had one of these in our suite in Hawaii. The sound is very good and sounds like full surround.

hmm, if it weren't so expensive, I'd be tempted. I'm building a system for my sister, and I already have a sub, receiver, and a set of bookshelf speakers. She might like the simplicity of that system better (though its likely less sound quality), but I think its high time she learns a tiny bit about audio gear
