It's bad to directly post a picture on our site that is hosted on another site (except for, of course, imageshack, photobucket, or other image hosting sites). The people hosting the image are paying for the bandwidth to display it on our site. Obviously, that's not acceptable.

If you want to post a picture you found elsewhere, first upload it to imageshack.ws, and use the URL they provide. It's also polite to credit your source, if it's not your own picture.
