completely bored...

I realized that my husband's lap top had some battery life in it (no internet connection) and he had had some "Corner Gas" episodes on it. "Corner Gas" is a Canadian TV show, apparently. Extremely funny, quite addicting, really.

After the power died on that, I used my cell phone...got it down to a bar of battery life. Afterall, you need that "quality" time with mom.

After that, I found yet another electrical device that worked, my digital camera so I just began snapping.

The only thing I left mostly charged in the house was my MP3 player.

I am definitely tied to the modern world. I could never do that TV show...what is it called "Pioneer House," "Pioneer Times?"

Next time? can someone hide the beer better?

I think I'm going back home and go to bed.

One time in Takasaki I had lunch with a bunch of corporate guys, all Japanese of course, and we had a tuna head grilled. the meat just in front of the gills was what we were supposed to eat; it was really outstanding.

yep. pour the beer down the center of the glass, not down the side; that gives it a better head like those above.

Eww...I have a hard time eating lobster. I don't have the heart to crack it in half. My favorite meat in the lobster is the claws.
