Sorry, I just went to check on something...It is nerve-wracking to have something come straight at you.

A lot of people take a ball glove with them...and beat each other up to get to a foul ball. Never got one at a major league park, got a couple at minor league fields.

I have never caught any.

I used to play softball. I knocked the wind out of the homecoming queen when she was trying to slide into home. I was hated by the entire school for like a week.

She was going to score, I had to do my job...I blocked the plate and tagged her right under her ribcage.

So you are aware of our Taunton issue? Wow, I would swear you are from Mass.

We had a listing in the office of a house that was built in 1768 right on the edge of the Halifax Country Club. It was so neat...it had all these weird nooks and crannies. It had 4 fireplaces, honey pine floors throughout, original moldings and fixtures, beehive oven, exposed beams, an ironing panel and pocket garage doors.

It had foundation issues, as I am sure tons of lead paint, but it was a gem.

I live in a 1960s house with very little character. I admire those who can take on the work.

The magazine Fine Woodworking is from there. I and my dad and 3 brothers have been getting it since about 1978. It is eyecandy for the woodworker.

so...you learnin the new words around DC?

"Sumpnspicious," -- a play on the slang pronunciation of "something suspicious" -- is defined as "n. (noun) unattended package or odd, unusual behaviour that is reported to a bus driver, train operator ... station manager or Metro Police."

"PlanBdextrous: ... adj. (adjective) able to plan an alternate route home in case Metro is inaccessible due to unforeseen circumstances."

I think that first word sounds a lot like one of yours!! LOL!
