Sadly, there are a lot of options. I almost got a glass of glowing or full-of-crap water and put it in, but decided it was too much. Wish I'd thought of a better way to put a woot item in it. Your fellow misfits have been concerned for you today. I am impressed, although my guess is that you often have to work the weekends, especially Sundays. True?

How's my new Belushi?

There's a good chance I'll end up right there with you. My Grandma died of it. Me, I'm hoping for something a little more pleasant like a massive stroke or carbon monoxide poisoning...

Yeah, how can you show e coli?

Well, what is nice is usually open houses are only 2-3 hours long. And usually Sundays....but not always true. I do an open house at 2 models (for new construction) every Thursday.

Nice peeping tom!

It is one of those weird words...it sounds dirty.

My husband's aunt's name is "Regina," but it sounds like "Ragina," which often gives me a giggle.

Grandma died in her late 70's. She lived with it for 15 years. Grandpa made sure nothing changed in their world... She went sharply downhill after he passed. Amazing how the mind works!

I have found that most older couples that once one dies, the other just gives up and often dies within the same year. Freaky.

true....they are connected

My Dad died at 52....cancer......Mom lived another 18 yrs without him but she was never the same.....when she died my siblings were amazed at how composed I was....my response is that she was where she had wanted to be for the last 18 yrs

Is it bad not to clean your house before the trick-or-treaters come?

My nosy neighbors will want to come in...I know it.

I got full size candy bars for the kids this year. I am attributing to child obesity.

It covered. Then at night it rained so it got slushy. Today was really nice and it melted completely.

I don't git no trickertreaters.....I think in the 16 yrs I have lived up here I have had less than 20 total!

Even if I did - I wouldn't clean.....well, I can't vacuum right now anyway - burned up my vac cleaner this morning - er somethin seized. It's a central vac, and it was making BAAAAAD noises and smells :(

So I can't vac now anyway! <edit> oops - I already said that!

Nope. I sit on the porch to hand out those little bags of cheetos/doritos/chips. They don't even need to see inside as far as I'm concerned...

I get probably between 30-60. My mom gets like 100+.

Sorry to hear about your central vac. I am jealous...I have to carry and push a big'un. You can vacuum and there is no noise, virtually. Did it have that rubber smell?

rubber and electrical smell...its up in the top part of the unit, where it exhausts - dunno if somethin made it past the filter somehow or if something broke and lodged up there.....will hafta call the repair guy....whoever he is! have had this for nearly 5 yrs now and this is the first prob I have had

Cheetos, doritos and chips sound really good!

I used to be more elaborate years ago. I used to get plastic pumpkins from Oriental Trading company and put candy & toys inside them.

The people up the street do a haunted house and they give the kids the glow in the dark necklaces.

I have one lady who is friends with the neighbor next door. She sold us the house and we changed EVERYTHING. The last time she was here, 2 Halloweens ago, she invited herself in. I dred the thought of her coming by again.

I know how expensive those things are. The construction workers duct for it...and we sell it as an "upgrade" for about $1,500 and extra outlets (say in the garage where it would be useful - is even more)

Yeah, it is hard to keep up with the Jones here (well, the next street over)...

The Jones, usually have a hyphenated last name and have abbreviations like LLC next to them, though.

yeah...mine wasn't too bad as a friend who runs a professional cleaning service had one installed and told me to call the same person and tell him she sent me :) I only got 2 outlets installed..would have loved one in the garage but that wasn't possible (well without a lotta $$!!) I have a ranch house with a mostly finished basement.....fortunately we could install the ductwork in the unfinished area and then run it up thru the wall.

I love it...can't imagine ever having another house w/o it!
