Rarely is it a pounding rain...just this annoying, constant mix between mist and a shower. The low fog adds to the effect. The area is extraordinarily green throughout the year. Snow is rare.

I have a craving right now for clam chowder...I think Josephus or AZG mentioned seafood earlier...and now I am starving.
