I do

but - it is a bit of an old wives tale about feeding birds....everything I have read lately says that birds supplement their natural diet at feeders and will not die if feeders go unfilled

not that it happens around here - I have 6 and my neighbor has 3-4 and they are filled daily

most important thing to supplement is water in the winter

I believe one of the biggest goldfish suppliers in the NE is in Mass....once I asked the guy about their ponds in the winter....he said they just go out, break thru the ice and scoop up the fish they are shipping out!

Funny...

When I was working in a corporate environment, my female boss (an udder bitch) gave me two "motivational" books to read...one was about getting the monkey off your back and the other one was about fish.

Sorry, just a weird synapse...
