Wow, I forgot about battle bots. I really liked that show.

Many reviews of this item here. Some are good, some aren't. It is a cheap gift for a kid that likes robots.

I work at UNLV and each year they have a robot challenge that is pretty cool. Not as destructive as battle bots, but entertaining. I think it is called FIRST robotics or something like that.
