I got the 10% warning and attached this, as I was in for two last time around. It died a few minutes later. It says it is charging but it doesn't give you any extra power. It was brand new out of the box with the included Energizer's.

I hahve owned 3 iPod now, including a touch. I have NEVER had to reset an iPod. What are you people doing with them? Using them with Windows? :-)

Considering you're the only one with said problem maybe it's a user issue?

I'm a rare person that still has their first ipod - running fine and not lookin' to upgrade.

They even work perfectly with iPod Touch G2's that have a protective case/skin on, because the adjustment let's you put any width iPod in, and you can snug it up.

My G2 Touch has a Belkin silicon skin.
