Hah. I got so excited as the image was loading slow for me and I had another window somewhat covering it. I thought it was a darn burrito of chorizo.

Those pictures remind me of the sarcophagus from that old Disney movie 'The Black Hole' - creepy, yet somehow amazingly high tech. I guess you could be jettisoned into space with one of these.

Based on the shape, I'd say no which is bad for me. I have 2 dogs that would never agree with not being able to get under the cover. lol Was ready to pull the trigger until I thought of the same thing.

Also sold at Buy.com.
Their description includes measurements in inches.

I wish they had this deal last fall before I plunked down big bucks for two Lafuma sleeping bags for a trip . . . At this price, these bags are practically worth it for one-time use (but that would be wasteful).

DON'T DO IT! I swear, you get what you pay for, and you should not pay for this horrible, god awful product. If you don't care about being comofortable or warm, then perhaps you may want to consider these. If your well being is something you value you, however, I strongly suggest you grit your teeth and buy a decent sleeping bag from GoLite or Marmot.

Recommending signature image size is 5k.

How padded do these sleeping bags feel? Thin as paper or to they actually have some stuffing in them to keep you from feeling every twig and rock between your sleeping bag and the ground?

It means they should be comfortable for temperatures between 20 and 50 deg. F. For most people. YMMV. Camping bag ratings are usually a pretty good guide. You should know how to adjust for your personal heat-o-meter.

wanpakumono wrote:Can these be zipped together for those of us who are a bit "fuller-figured?"

The copy says they can be zipped together. Usually only 2 can be zipped together, but I hope that's plenty.

january wrote:How long are the sleeping bags in feet and inches? it only says centimeters.

210cm = 6'10"

eq52515 wrote:I wonder about the snuggle factor... They seem slim enough to accommodate...

You have your choice of zipping 2 together, or squeezing into 1. (Lotsa luck on that one.)

NOTE: These are probably too warm to use for indoor "camping" (i.e., it's not a "slumber bag.").

I'm supposed to buy something? But we're having so much fun with things as they are, I don't want to ruin it!

The description says...

And fortunately for me, the two of them can zip together to make one big sleeping bag.

But the picture shows two bags, each with a right-hand zipper. Ideally you want one to be right-hand and one to be left-hand. You can still zip two right-hand zippers together, but one of the bags will end up upside down.

So what's the real story? Is the picture accurate, or does one of the bags come with a right-hand zipper and the other with a left-hand one?

second, i wouldn't use these for anything below 40F.
these are probably good to have for sleepovers, or if you're a college kid/young adult, good to have for guests who crash on the couch.
if you plan to do any real outdoor camping, i'd suggest going to REI (or similar sporting goods/outdoorsperson store) and buying a high-quality bag (will easily cost you $100+)

I second that... These look like they're ok for really warm summer nights, or else letting the kids have a sleepover in the living room. But if you're going to be camping outside, these are a bit light...

That said, I think I'm gonna grab myself a pair, 'cause I've already got a really good bag, but I could use something light weight for warmer weather!

In my experience, it generally means it'll keep you decently warm if wearing appropriate sleeping garments, ie, don't wear boxers when it's 25º. You won't freeze, but you're not going to be lying in a pool of sweat when you wake up.
