actually it's not, it's just coming from the server and my computer can't seem to cope today. I'm using the slowest computer in the building. I'm also the only one not doing complex graphic analysis.

Not that anyone is around, but .....

Movie goers -

Which is the better place to go Saturday to see Harry Potter?
1) The place 5 minutes away with comfy seats and good projectors (decent sound) but old style seating (everyone on a slightly slanted floor looking up at the screen)

2) The place 15 minutes away with ok seats, cheap projectors (good enough, but you can tell), stadium seating, and twice as many showings

It's the off season in the town we live in so we are hoping it won't be super crowded either way (friends assure us it probably won't be). It doesn't really matter either way to Orc, he's 6ft+, I'm not that lucky, I'm generally considered short and loved the fact that we were getting a stadium seating theater. But the seats while tolerable do leave you with a stiff neck anyway (well at least they do me). I get a migraine almost guarenteed either way, stupid flicker.

go to the one with better screen and sound--

I have found that in stadium seating when you are at a good level to see the screen, you totally hear the projector noise and that stinks worse than looking up at the screen...

Appliances are all ordered. Microwave, microwave trim kit, convection oven, glass cooktop with downdraft, and dishwasher for under $3K. I was giving a $6K allowance. Got a great deal on the oven -- discontinued model.

I'm going to rent a stainess fridge.

Painting should start Monday. I'm going to get them to start on kitchen first.

You are going to rent a fridge?
So you are selling with no fridge?

How do you know nobody was storing dead people in the rented fridge?

So what do you do with all the "old" stuff?

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Fridge adds another $1500 easy. If I get the lowest end model, I could be stuck with it. Yuck. I'll take my chances if someone ever makes an offer.

Just so happens that I have a friend at work that collects stuff for garage sales. He scours good neighborhoods on trashday and picks up things he can resell. He's going to take them for free and sell them. No hauling charge for me. He gets some extra cash which he can use.

If they want one that bad, they can ask for an allowance. They can pick one they like that way.

House was built in 96 so about 14-15 yrs old. All work but the plastic on them has yellowed with age.

Except the fridge. I bought that when I moved in so it's 10 years old.

See house with no fridge, no laundry appliances.

My stove works, but looks like hell. Plastic knobs are broken. The child safty stuff we put on the stove back in the day, scratched it.
Plus it have an oven where the microwave would be today.

It would have to totally be changed if we sell.

I want to go swim.

Why?

Because this ist he first year we didn't get any pool membership.

If we had one, I wouldn't want to go swim.

Also, it is one of the first days, since the pool has been open, that it is hot enough to swim!

I think the only people who realized the pool opened late this year, are the kids who work there!

Same for my sister. Actually she ended up replacing all the built-ins too. Sold them to my grandma to use in her rental. Her house was only 5 years old, but it had been owned by a bachelor.

Hmm, it's not the looking up that worries me as much as looking between heads and only seeing half the screen (did I mention I'm short). I can hear the projector either place, I'm used to that. Most of the time the volume is up so much that you don't hear it unless things are quiet. We like to sit in the acoustic middle if we can get those seats.

You've seen pictures of me on facebook. I am taller than some of my friends (of course they are only 1" too tall to be in short people of America), but pretty much everyone I know is taller than me, even my Asian friends (of course most of them are tall for Asian).
