Ah, memories.

"Look, I'm sorry. Okay? I'm really sorry."
*Raise eyebrow* "Okay. Why?"
"Well...because...I upset you."
"How?"
"I...uh."
"You don't even know what I'm upset about, do you?"
"No. And for that, I am sorry."

Today's pants smell like:
Not sure if you should post that? This slightly-nsfw-flowchart will help.

Hi all!
Cruzer, looking into the future I see GEG coming on and not being happy you discussed things here. You really don't need a second thing to apologize for before you made a success of the first apology, edit time.

w00t!

Went to Sam's Club over lunch break and picked up a Rock Band SE bundle on clearance for $22! Now I have a spare guitar and bass drum pedal to replace the ones I've busted.

And assuming I can return the unbundled (but still brand-new shrink-wrapped) software to Walmart for store credit, I might be able to make a buck or two profit and still get to keep the hardware.

Valid possibility, although since he has give us 0 details, he has been rather smart.

If it was me, i'd be glad if my man took the advice offered by these sages of wisdom in life, and that he sought such advice in a considerate manner. Still, if I was still upset and it was a lack of respect to me, or discretion in speaking/posting which was the source of the problems. . . . that would be bad.

Very nice!

I'd love to play those games, but I don't have room to store the uber-cool equipment for them. Besides some of the music and graphics are not discussions I want to have with my 2 and 4 year olds. It was bad enough on Sunday when her dress kept slipping too low and I spent my 30th birthday telling her to cover her chest (Yup, that probably won't ever change).

So true but if I remember correctly he didn't give much detail once before and she put him right in his place...like any good woman
eidt: Cruzer, if she doesn't want to see you yet having flowers delivered to say you're sorry is always nice.

"I said I loved you on the day we got married. I'll tell you if I change my mind" does not really end an argument.

Setting your facebook status to express how excited you are she is coming home and how much you missed her would also be appreciated.

Rock Band LEGO Edition is coming this fall, and will supposedly be very kid/family friendly. Won't solve the whole plastic instrument storage problem though.

As far as keeping her clothes on in church... I think that's something that pretty much all four year old girls seem to struggle with. Especially when they're up front singing in the children's choir. Hope she grows out of it quick.

And BTW, Happy Birthday! Somehow I managed to miss that both here and on FB.

I don't think church was a problem (I was stuck in the nursery and didn't see her much), just the rest of the day. Part of it was the style of the dress, the back would pull up causing the front to slip down. I told her to get a shirt and it did the same thing. . .

LEGO rockband sounds neat. . . I got LEGO batman for my birthday!

Thanks much!

it's tough to do that when you get into those moods because you don't always realize that you're off the deep end most of the time. Then the next day you see that the other party is still upset about it and you realize that you probably shouldn't have said those things and you feel bad about it and you caused them to go off the deep end with you and that's not a very pretty site at all.

Part of it's called growing up, when you start recognizing maybe some faults about yourself as well as all your sterling qualities.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.
