Sounds easy actually.

I think my dad would just wait until it was cool and shove a water hose down the hole and turn it on. . .

yes, but that's part of why you turn the water on last, you already are at least a few feet away (hopefully).

I don't think the water will kill them. Just make them very very mad. I like the poison idea. Death to wasps!

Might kill some grass with it but it's probably worth the sacrifice.

There's nothing there but weeds. I should take a picture of the nest to post but it's just a hole in the side of a line of dirt.

When I go out there, I'll be in full jeans, sweatshirt and a hat. And gloves. And anger.

George, George
George of the Jungle,
Strong as he can be.
(Ahhhhhhhh)
Watch out for that tree.

George, George,
George of the Jungle,
Lives a life that's free.
(Ahhhhhhhh)
Watch out for that tree.

When he gets in a scrape,
he makes his escape
with the help of his friend,
an ape named Ape.
Then away he'll schlep
on his elephant Shep
While Fella and Ursula
Stay in step.

Well....George, George
George of the Jungle,
Friend to you and me.

Watch out for that tree.

I will say that a hose would be visually more gratifying though.

Here's a pic for d'name... I don't consider it a Bobo-style, however.

If that's a wild rat, I wonder if the owner was taking pics in hopes of catching a bloodfest.

Oh, sure, they're cute when they're LITTLE. But then they ignore you, and drag dead things in the house, and scratch your furniture, and steal the breath from your children, and transmogrify metal, and kill babies, and ruin the american economy, and make old people yell at town meetings, and bankrupt the poor, and cause ebola and swine flu to transmit via fleas, and cause the downfall of western civilization, and force pop music stars to make bad movies...

Bored. I've moved in a conference room with a laptop to see if that will help with the asthma. Sigh.

They're going to empty the 4 office at the end of the hall (about 10' away) and close it off to tear down ceilings for new AC & duct work. Supposedly the air will be better because that AC unit is bringing in outside air right now and that includes tractor & equipment exhaust. Lovely.

I just wish I could have a pet. Wife also says she's allergic. I wanna dog sooooo bad. Bird's fine, but you can't snuggle with a parakeet.

I need to get more fish for the tank at work and get that webcam running again!

I haven't had a dog in years. . . I've even got my kids wanting one, but in my family dogs lived outside, so we need to work on that outside space. Even if I do let the dog in, we don't have space where we are (not to mention it's against the rules - not that most people follow those).
