Prolly lunch as well, at this rate.

Still! Breakfast = important. Eat it. Do as I say, not as I do.

Not sure if you should post that? This slightly-nsfw-flowchart will help.

My kids had breakfast, that's an accomplishment. I actually used to get violently ill if I ate before 10am. It was a real problem the summer I worked trail crew for the USFS. About three days in I figured out I could pack a really large 10am snack and skip breakfast and life was much much better. It wasn't like we hurt for food out there. I don't think I've ever eaten more in my life, but we worked so hard, I lost a ton of weight. Unfortunately, when I returned to school, I was still used to having huge meals and the weight came back.

I rarely skip breakfast unless I wake up really late and go straight to lunch. I get too hungry if I don't eat it.

Wow, it must be nice to be normal.

Dietitians get really frustrated with me. I know breakfast is important, I've had it beat into my head all my life, but you can't convince me that spending my morning doubled over is healthy. I still eat the right amount of food, I think, although recently I've been wondering if I should look into that more. I just don't eat on the exact same schedule as everyone else.

Unfortunately, because I don't feel good if I eat too soon after waking, it becomes very easy to skip breakfast entirely. I'll have an afternoon snack that is more like a lunch later though.

My old apartment-mate is the same way, if there's not at least a couple hours between waking up and eating, it makes him sick. So he tends to have a mid-morning snack sort of thing 10am-ish and it works pretty well for him. Eating breakfast is important...though it's kinda counterproductive if you end up throwing it back up shortly after.

LMR's opinions are like margaritas: intoxicating, and best taken with a bit of salt.

Not taking any more cough medicine. Went to bed last night at 2, got up at 10. Napped from 11 to 12. Napped from 1:30 to 3. Napped from 6 to 6:30. At least I hope it's the cough medicine that's doing it.

Yay!!!!!

Ver1 keeps wanting cough medicine, but she isn't coughing much. I think her cough has more to do with harvest than anything else. Even her teachers at school don't think she is sick.

HI folks. What's harvested right now in your neck of the woods? Our CSA, it's eggplant, tomatoes, peppers, and loads of kale.

Wheat and lentils for the most part. Some mustard.

Was gonna ask it was wheat. Stuff can be irritating. Seems our local farms haven't done as well as previous years. Probably because it's been very hot and rainy. Sun been rather rare.

Annual family get-together, but the numbers are way down this year because one section of the family are all going to SC to help one of the daughters move into their new house. And some have other things to do. And some just said they wouldn't be here. Last year we had 30, this year about 18.

They live in St Louis. Have probably seen them 4-5 times total. They were adults (17-20) at the time of the divorce. Mom said something that turned them against brother. So no, I haven't seen them since.
