Hey, didn't we see this already this Woot-off?

The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right.

Bought this in the last woot off. My refurb came in looking brand new. The AV pack is GREAT - hook it up to TV and watch on my big-screen. Holds tons of content.

About 2 months in...started having synch problems (visit zune.net for the skinny). Finally, after the upgrade to the new software (4.0) it seems to have settled back down.

Have a (brown!!) 30GB wooted in 2007 that is going strong, and a new 120GB. Love the big screen, all the storage, great sound.

Be sure to update the player if oyu buy it. Zune launched player update 3.2 (Build 35) recently and the update is quick and painless. It helps the older Zunes work with Zune 4.0 software....

.rev - 304.unique.woots / 542.total.items - woot is where the crap is.

Back in the day, mp3 players would fly when there was a woot off. I remember when they would only have 10 ipods and they would be gone before you could even load the front page.

Totally unrelated, let's compare our woot-off shopping carts.

I'm relatively poor, so mine isn't too impressive, but I'm bored. Also, it's an interesting list taken out of context.

WalletPix 1.5” Digital Photo Viewer - 2 Pack (3)
Home & Car Rapid Battery Charger w/ AA & AAA Rechargeable Batteries
Einstein Wizard Electronic Handheld Game (3)
Chop and Grate Set
Intech Rippa Driver 460cc with Graphite Shaft
Early Warning Laser and Radar Detector

Seems like murder and a hi-speed pursuit might be involved. I'm not sure...

$254.29 well Wooted on:
Woot-Offs: 2
Sellout.woots: 1
Kids.woots: 2
Regular.woots: 11
B O C Attempts: 2 B O C Successes: 1

I would be worried if you had bought the $500 knife set.

You think your cart is unimpressive? I only have two flashlights.

The only things I actually wanted(that I was able to get) were the Detector and the Batteries. Everything else was to help move it along. Oh well; Christmas is coming.

My kids love their Zune 30. The cool thing is that these Zunes are upgradeable. For instance, my sons 30 had the 1.X software originally. I think it is running 3.x that is in this one. It added new features and these games he is now addicted to.

My daughter has a 30 and a 4gb one. She has an ipod nano, but likes the zunes better and is trying to sell it.

I prefer my sansa e260 myself.

Doesn't flipping infer that you are making it better before selling it?

I don't think you make too much considering the time and the effort you have to put in reselling woot stuff...unless the price difference is staggeringly miraculously off, then maybe.

I love Macs -I have two and use one at work, but until iTunes has a monthly all you can eat pass like Zune, I will be forever addicted to my Zune. Plus, I can play my library through my home theater via XBox.

There are still some things about Microsoft that I like.

Goshawk4560 wrote:This is not a deal. Plus this doesn't have the new touch pad as written. Nor does the Zune software transcode MS-DVR unless you're using Vista Media Center. It is still a great MP3 + video player but not for this price.

The Zune does have a touch pad (the Oval pad is touch sensetive) it does not have a touch screen like the HD but that's not what they advertise.
DVR-MS files are DVR-MS files, that's what Media Centers write (XP, Vista, and 7 all do). It's not difficult to convert them just as you would any file format that would would want on any other player out there.
The addition of the dock make it worth the Woot price unless you can find a place with a better deal.

FWIW, I really loved my Creative 30gb Zen that I got for Christmas a few years back. Great quality, great price, looked nice, and had all the features: AM/FM, voice recorder, picture viewer, movies, etc.

Unfortunately I bought a new Creative product recently, the 4gb Zen Mosaic, and the new software they use is scaffolding. Absolutely horrible.

Now I just use my iPhone.

You right. Most of the items are 10-20% below market. But I've seen a few items at least 50% below market.

I just discovered this site right before the woot-off started so I am still feeling my way around.
