Personally, I'd sell the Mac and keep the Zune...

I also bought one before when it was $10 more. Yes, didn't get the correct headphones initially but the premiums were shipped very quickly. LOVE my Zune... it's been great and I've even dropped it a couple of times. Yes, the software is clumsy but I'll take it over iToonz.

Highly recommended.

Me too. Got it off of woot for $45. Has most of the features of the Nano and the older Zunes, and no matter how many times I step on it or drop it, it keeps on ticking.

Is the 80gb zune the same dimensions as the 30? I wouldn't mind getting the 80 next time, but I've got 3 different docking stations for the 30 and would hope they all fit.

I set up an as-it-happens Google Alert for "site:woot.com Zune" and received an email on my BlackBerry around 7:00 CST as I was heading off to work. It obviously stated that the Zune was back and so I jumped on for the buy.

After my girlfriend bought her Zune from woot in July, I've been envious, and on top of that, I was ticked that I missed the Wednesday Zune. Sweet redemption!

I recommend to all to use the newest zune software, available on zune.net. As a long time winamp fan, I was actually surprised by Microsoft's software, particularly ease of use and clean, obvious interface.

Got mine yesterday afternoon, and it looked brand new. And guess what? It's also a brick! I can use it to hold down large piles of papers. If I had 2000, I could make a walkway. Only thing I can't do, apparently, is get the battery to charge, get my computer to recognize it, or play music on it. Microsoft says they'll replace it if I send it back, and I can expect the replacement in 3 weeks. I'm a bit disappointed. Maybe the new one will restore my faith...

Wanted to Let you know your not the only one experiencing this problem after a couple of hours trying different battery charging tecniques and trips to zune.net im in the same position of having to send it in for a replacement with the time, trip to UPS, and aggravation this WOOT cost me more than i would have spent in the store.

Hey Woot, this is every possible flavor of annoying.

Mine worked good for four days and gave up yesterday. It has started freezing up after the start up screen with the (5) Contact Support message.

Came in DOA. Woot accepts no responsibility for anything they sell. Sent me to the manufacturer. This is unacceptable. I sent it in and after 6 weeks I got a replacement. Hopfully this'll work. This makes my 7th negative purchase from Woot. I'm done buying electronics from them. It seems, most of what they sell, is refurbed junk or substandard junk. I'd rather buy from a brick and morter operation and pay more money just for the convenience of taking it back if it doesn't work right. You're Dead To Me, Woot!

I'm guessing they didn't install the software... you have to install the software for your computer to recognize / charge it.
