Just replace the plastic bag when it tears or is just too old to hold the grinds.

It is easiest to clean right away, if you let it set and dry it becomes harder to knock out.

Shipping? Anyone? Has anyone else's Breville shipped yet? I've always suspected the Woot shipping department had it out for me.

I know we're still inside the 5 business days Woot asks for - but Damnit, I'm drinking from a French Press here! I needs my delicious lattes.

Breville rocks!

I was so impressed with my groovy Breville Cappiccino maker that I got from woot! that I ordered a Breville blender from woot! Last night I bought a Breville juicer and a Breville wok from a place near me that had them on sale. I might go back for the Breville burr grinder also on sale. FYI, the Breville coffee maker they had at this store was not as nice as the one from last Friday's woot! (it's a more basic model) and it's marked down from $229.00 to $169.00, so the better one with the kickin' knocchi knock box is even more of a steal!

woot! rocks too!

So your order shipped? I'm still stuck at:
"your order is in. you're all set now."

I'm not sure I can handle another latte-less weekend. Or a $4/latte from the coffee shop down the street weekend. Or a gag on $3 lattes at Starbucks weekend.

All I'm saying is, please Woot, hurry.

A cold comfort for those of us suffering through insufferable coffee, waiting for crema'tastic redemption from our Brevilles.

Finally - got my shipping notification! Fedex thinks it's going to be delivered tomorrow, but has only received "Electronic Notification". I hope they're not lying.

EDIT: Nooooo! Estimated delivery changed to the 20th. I'm bracing myself for another latte-less weekend. Sadface.

Someone forgot to give the FedEx guy some coffee, it's about time.
Now I can caffeinate the W O R L D !

Works great so far. Nice crema. Nice frother. Even has a pod cup, not something I really need, but nice to have.

Got my unit today. Not a happy camper. It is obviously a refurbished unit. Scratched and dented and they didn't even clean the unit properly. Left over bits of milk in the steam nozzle --- Yuk!!!

I received my unit today as well and yes it is a refurb as well... It even has remnants of the previous user's coffee in the filter cup as well as a dirty drip tray. I can't imagine what goodness I'll find in the steam wand... Needless to say I haven't even plugged it in yet.

We sincerely apologize that you didn't receive a new unit. A private message and an email will be sent to you with further instructions.

Same issue as the others. Dried milk on the steam wand. Not acceptable. Not only am I worried about the quality of the machine, but the warranty length as well.

Started up my unit for the first time today and no water will pump through machine... perfect. I would have rather gotten a working refurb than a completely useless new unit.

Same here...DOA.
E-mailed Breville customer support with no reply.
Called their customer service line, was on hold for 10 minutes, then was prompted to leave a callback number.
Hoping for a resolution.

Yea I called them twice and they had me email them my receipt and once the warranty is verified they will send my a fedex label to send it back. So hopefully the warranty that comes with the woot sale isn't as broken as the product.

Same issue for me. No water will pump through. I got this unit to replace one with a broken thermoblock, and now i have two broken machines. awesome.

I got mine yesterday and in the beginning no water would pump through the unit either. I thought I had received a broken one. However, I found that it's because the machine needed some time to 'warm up' on the first go. I had to set the knob and the button to steam and once the steam worked the hot water also worked.

Tried that last night, to no effect. Still waiting for Breville to return emails and calls.

Same here. But Breville has been in contact with me, however they said that a shipping label would be emailed to me within 24 hours. Its now about 30 hours and the last phone call to them said it might be another 24 hours. So we will see. Just keep calling, they will answer.

This is EXACTLY what is happening with mine. Terrible. And, mine is clearly refurb as well...a fact I was willing to overlook if it was a functioning unit. This leaps into the vacuum.

I was so excited to get my new Breville espresso machine. I've been using a Delonghi Bar 32 for the last 4 years and felt it was time for an upgrade. I read all the directions, plugged this one in and started the "before your first use" preparation. It makes noise, but no water comes out- not the filter, the froth wand, or even on the hot water setting. I'll try my luck with their Customer Service. I was just hoping for it to work right out of the box.

Me too! Gosh - the audacity of us: expecting a nearly $200 product to work! On hold right now with 1-866-BREVILLE

Just got off the phone with Breville - spoke to Michael - he couldn't have been nicer or more apologetic...and I only had to hold for a couple of minutes. While disappointed, I am happy they are sending me a brand new one in its place (once they receive this broke-down one)...

Ordered three of these. At least two of them don't work, as others described (no water pumping through). I sold the third one and it is on its way to someone else -- chances are they will have bad luck as well. One defective machine is bad, but two (possibly 3?) is unbelievable!

Has anyone else ever bought espresso machines from woot? If so is this the usual quality of the products sold by woot, because this is horrendous.
