Don't take the term "Refurb" too seriously with this product and company. These monitors may have gone out to retailers and been returned just because of normal stocking and inventory. My experience buying several sets of three have been universally good, with most looking like they had never even been unboxed except to have the new logo attached.
So, i came back over here to hang out with you guys because i think the world's done gone crazy on The Other Thread. /we call it "hiding discreetly"

just 20 inch, what the brand is
Do woot-off items usually take longer to ship?
jaradanas wrote:Do woot-off items usually take longer to ship?
Sometimes they do take longer to ship woot-off items, depending on the volume of the items sold. But heck, this is the 5th day so these will hopefully be going out today. These will ship FedEx so you can try to see if it did by using your order number as a reference on the FedEx site. EDIT: I see by my reference# my monitor shipped 11/3 and is due for delivery 11/7.
Any idea when this is shipping out? Just got the new computer last night but it would sure be nice to have a fancy monitor to go with it.

Yeah, same here. Go to https://www.fedex.com/AltRefTracking?cntry_code=us - enter you zip, country and order # and you should see the tracking info

You should have got one when you paid; it will be on your receipt. To see your receipt again:
My account information still doesn't list them as shipped, yet they were sitting on my porch when I got home.

Anyone have trouble setting the resolution to the suggested 1600x900? Wondering if there are some drivers out there

Set to 1600x900 fine for me.
I got two of these. But, feel like an Dr. Clayton Forrester. I can't get the hinged base unfolded. It's packed with the hinged stand folded up against the display. How do you unfold so it's in its normal position? --Frustrated Frostburger

Suggestion: If you can't get the mount to unfold, take out the 4 screws around it, which releases the base from the monitor. You can try moving it around without the monitor being in the way. Mine also was difficult to move, but I removed mine to use the VESA mount instead.

Wow! The one is VERY difficult to move--even when it's detached from display. But, both now repositioned. Thanks for the assist.
Got this on Saturday. Love it!
I peeled off the puffy sticker on the back of the monitor to see the HP logo hiding behind it! Now where can I get an HP sticker to replace the goofy globe sticker on the front? Like others had said, this thing looks brand new and performs great.
supposed to come today....still nothing!
im having trouble setting the resolution to the native 1600x900 also. for some reason, i cant get any better than 1280x768
Got mine yesterday.. It's a nice one....i wish i got 3!
Mine came without the power cable - not cool woot, not cool.
Anyone else having a problem with stuck pixels. I'm not sure if i'm gradually getting them or if I wasn't observant when I first got the monitor. Still only 3 right now, but just a little spooked. Any folk remedies that won't void the limited warranty?
