You kiddies need to chillax. From what I have gathered, Woot processes orders based on order time (people who ordered at midnight will be processed first and and the person who ordered the last TV tuner will be processed last). I was able track my package as of 12:10 AM today, but the FedEx website said that it had not been shipped yet. Please give Woot time; they had to process ~27,000 orders and from what I gathered from a previous post, they did not bring in extra day laborers to work at the warehouse. :p
I have also gathered that some people's orders have begun shipping already (those are probably the kiddies that ordered at midnightish). Please also note that today marks the 4th business day (the day that Woot was selling the item does not count) and Woot says products usually ship within 5 business days. Just everyone, please stop whining!

You're an i.diot. They said it would usually ship within 5 business days; it's only been 4. Plus the said it has been shipped; they just need to send out the tracking numbers. Many people, including me, where able to get their status with their order number and zip code through Fedex.com. And where exactly would they buy it from; this was the cheapest price that I've seen for this tuner. Google Products

Side note: I read lots of reviews and opinions from people online about this site before wooting for the first time on this item. It's cheap, and slow enough to make you think a guy on a pony will drop it off, but it gets the job done. That is the general concensus I gather... I'm cool with that I guess.

Same. I suppose that's why my Woots are so infrequent, enough time has to pass before I forget what a pita it was the last time.

I'm no woot! rookie, so I know it takes a while for items to get shipped out. But it is a little bothersome that we have this statement:

Yet many of us still have nothing - no emails, no status via FedEx 'tricks', no indication at all that anything is happening.

I'm waiting patiently... but it'd be best if woot! staff just didn't make statements like the one quoted above. It tends to piss off the new folks.

Fedex is dumb. It's going to go from Dallas to Houston (I guess their main Texas hub), than to San Antonio. From there Fedex SA will drop it off to your local Post Office(since this is the cheaper Fedex SmartPost service which relies on on the Post office to deliver the last leg), who will finally deliver it to you.

That sux so woot takes forever to ship it, then uses one of the slowest ways possible to get it to you. Man if I knew this I would of paid the extra $10 bucks elsewhere to get the thing and be over with.

I haven't gotten any message and the fedex trick isnt working either. What the hell, woot has never been this slow before and i have order several things in the past

I just love the pollyanna first time wooters who are telling everyone else to calm down and chillax. And then they add comments defending the delay of shipping. I can't feel sorry for Woot. They created their shipping wording and they sold a lot of product which means they made a lot of money from us.

So you first time wooters...what the heck are you basing your opinions on? Come back after you've got about 20 Woots under your belt and then tell me how sorry you feel for Woot and their shipping delays and lack of communication. Ya'll need to chillax.

Listen, I am a needlessly angry badger, if a company can not ship an item in a week and now more they are lousy business people!!!

Amazon ships 27,000 pieces an HOUR and if they get the order before 4pm it ships THAT DAY!!! Dozens of businesses ship a hell of a lot more and do it much faster!!

So in the end these people are laughing all the way to the bank because of AH's like you who buy their lies. This is probably some guy with a bunch of illegals working out of this basement drop shipping.

They can take this FOOL off the list, I learned my lesson.

While I agree that it seems to be taking longer than normal, this seems a little harsh considering Amazon will charge you more in s & h and they will charge more for the item. So that was a bad example. That being said I still have zero shipping information. I will however use woot again if I see a deal.

Moral of the story order things from woot that you want not things you need.

I'll pile on and say that I'm disappointed with the shipping time too. I've wooted a handful of times and besides the initial wait for the item to ship, I've been overall pleased at how fast the items got to me once it actually left the warehouse. It wasn't uncommon to receive a fedex package two days later (even got Saturday delivery on two packages).

This time, however, it seems that Woot is really going all out in dragging their feet. My order has shipped but is not slated to arrive until Nov 17th. I'm not sure where my tuner is going before it gets here, but the trip from Dallas to Louisiana shouldn't take a week regardless of the carrier. I hope that Fedex is just posting a worse case scenario and it will arrive in the next day or so.

One final thing: how about sending out shipping notices BEFORE the item arrives at my door? I shouldn't have to reference my order number to track it. If the item has been shipped then send the tracking information!

I ordered something on 9/23 - they sent tracking number on 9/30 - but didn't actually shipped the item until 10/7 & arrived on 10/15... Close to a month afterwards... Looks like this is going to happen again.. Oh, and I got no email, or tracking information on FedEx using order number..

Meh. I'm more patient than you guys. I would wait a couple weeks if it took that, I'm not that tied to television. It'd be nice if it got here before the weekend so I can watch some soccer or football, but if it comes in time for next weekend's games, that's fine too. I think the price was worth the wait.

I didnt receive an email from Woot, but I checked the Fedex site and it says that its in transit. I live in Columbus, Ohio and the estimated delivery date is November 18th, which I think is a long time considering I wont get it until next week, which means this will all take about 2 weeks total.

Mine is now on the move. And I'm much appreciative of all the help that we have gotten from the Woot! staff so far. But I am going to have to agree with some that the shipping method being used is confusing and an overly long solution. Even regular USPS Priority Mail is a standard $4.95 no matter the container and only takes 2-3 business days. If you were just going to dump it off to standard mail anyway why not just use this method for roughly the same cost? I have a delivery date of 11/17. Roughly 2 business weeks to ship something that weighs around a pound is kind of wrong.

Also, If you had made these say $21 instead you could have applied the overage to something like the 3-4 day Fedex shipping option and I would have gladly paid the extra as it would have still been a great price.

Well, I was getting worried like the rest of you. I still haven't received a tracking number by email. However, I just tracked it using the method posted above. It says it should be here on Nov 14th. Which isn't too bad.

This is a joke. How hard is it to ship an item. Sad thing is that most of these deals you can find other places on the web. Not like woot has an exclusive deal on this stuff. I will never woot again.

The above worked for me. Seems to have been loaded on the truck last night and been through and left FedEx Dallas @ 3:30 this AM. The FedEx estimated delivery date is 18-Nov, so it should be here by Turkey Time with a week to spare. Thanks woot! The rest of you just need to calm down and breathe through your nose. It's a good deal for the money and shipping is cheap so just relax.
Remember you can have only have two of the following three: Good, Fast, Cheap. So good and cheap aint gonna' be fast.

Just used the FedEx tracking "trick" (since I've yet to receive a shipment email) and it says they've received the shipment information... as of yesterday... and the ANTICIPATED ship date was yesterday!

Well now its today... so why is it still just "anticipated"? I suppose if I'm lucky I'll be getting mine in about two weeks! I've never had to wait this long.

And why is it the Woot guy butchered the spelling of "afternoon" so badly?
