Not recommended. I have one and one the the fans was rattly and noisy from day one... it died a couple of days later. I got it cheap, wasn't worth returning.

This thing will break! I had one of these, and it broke within a week. The on/off wheel is extremely flimsy.

I bought one. I'm using it. My future generations thank you.

ALMOST hit buy... but couldn't bring myself to it...

this one leaps into the vacuum when it should blow. My laptops have air intakes on the bottom, this "cooler" tries to move air down and out the back.

Pointless

I bought one of these from Best Buy, and the USB plug stopped working after about 6 months. Did a dang good job keeping my Toshiba Satellite cool though.

Yeah. its weird. How does it work. I looked at the stats and an item was sold out with 0% in every stat. So no one bought?

We have two of these - purchased a couple of years ago during another Woot-off. Both are still working great; fans are quiet, and they keep the laptops cool.

My only gripe is the long USB cable that came standard. A shorter (4" to 6") cord would be great.

Slow start to this woot-off...come on make it worth staying up for!

I've used one before, it does ok. But $10 for a refurb?

This is pure junk. I had 2 of these. Both stopped working within a month. Is you have small fingers beware. The tip of my finger got sliced in the blade. It took forever to heal.

Cool, I was just looking for something to needlessly take up a USB port.

These Chill Pads are great except for the USB cord tends to break. Thus you aren't able to get power to the unit. Kind of a pain, but I keep throwing cords at mine and after 3+ years it is still running.

Is it me or is the yellow bar not working for this woot-off? I stepped away to make some coffee and an item was sold out from nowhere.

using one right now on a daily basis... very good. quiet and lasted for more than 3 months already.

I had one of these; fine for a while, but the power port worked loose after a few months. Be prepared to fix it.
