was starting to worry cause i hadnt got the email saying they were shiped, well fedex droped them off to day, i check my email and there it was, it was sent yesterday, a 23 hour delivery that makes up for how lon it took to ship, THANKS WOOT!!!!

Does anyone know what kind of inputs these speakers have? Hopefully RCA jacks. I want to hook these up to my TV or DVD player.

How on earth does something ship on the 8th from Dallas, and on the 11th still be in Texas? How does that work exactly?

Anyway my estimated is on the 14th, thats rediculous (6) days+ for delivery. After having waited 5 days for them to even ship to begin with.

Woot! I got mine in today and hooked it up in my room, and it's amazing! I love it. It was definitely worth the $55. I had to buy a cable to convert the RCA to headphone plug, but that was cheap and easy.

My speakers are due tomorrow, but they're still in Nashville according to fedex... I'm not getting my hopes up :(

Well, my receiving day was originally the 14th, then it was pushed back to the 15th. My shipment is still in Irving, TX and its the 12th. Not sure why when they get behind like this Woot doesn't do overnight shipment or something to make up for their slowness.

I live right down the street from Woot and it has taken FedEx 5 days to get these to me! Next time Woot should let me drop by and pick up my items. Saves me time and saves Woot money. Federal Distress is Stressing me out.

Estimated delivery today, only they're still in Memphis TN and I live in New Orleans... according to tracking they left Memphis TN last night at 8:50 pm... I wonder where they went? I was going to go work for a while, but I don't want to miss the delivery (in New Orleans they may never show up again).

Got mine today. I'm very impressed with the sound. It's a TON better sounding than the Dell speakers and the build quality is much much better. Also this set included some pretty cool mounting brackets. Two sets actually. One fixed point bracket to mount to a wall or act as a stand and also a swiveling wall backet (twists in one direction).

Like suspected, there doesn't appear to be any way to get true 5.1 discrete channels. But for things that only output stereo it's a nice system. I haven't had time to set up more than just the front two speakers so I can't comment on how the simulated surround sound works. I will say this though. Even using it as a 2.1 speaker system is a good deal for the price. Oh and the sub is about 2.5 times bigger than the dell sub and heavier too.

This question is directed at anybody that ordered 2 or more sets like I did.

On the tracking page, my order shows that it is 1 piece at 33.2 lbs. Comparing those specs to another tracking number for 1 set of these, they have the same number of pieces and weight. I'm hoping this is just a fedex mistake but would just like to know if anyone else has the same problem.

Yippy mine just arrived in time for lunch. Box is destroyed, being held together with a roll of tape. Speaker are Nice looking and sound great on my work pc. Now to get them home and hookem up to the x-box :)

Fedex just say that mine were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but they haven't updated since they left Memphis TN at 8:50pm on the 12th... I dunno if the New Orleans office is just messed up or if there's been a problem. The breadmaker that's supposed to be delivered today is the same way... left Memphis... no clue where it is... I dunno whether to go home and wait for delivery again or just wait till I get the notice on my door. Bah.

Ok so mine were scheduled to be delivered the 13th. It is now the 14th and I still have no speakers. Not only that but whenever I go to the FedEx page it doesn't even have a projected delivery date! WTF is going on! Is anyone else in this situation?

mine are supposed to Arrive in Portland on the 15th but as of now they just arrived in Minneapolis (on the 14th) so it took the speakers 5 days to go from Texas to Minnesota, I doubt they make it hear by tomorrow. Booooooo. Come on woot, I paid for these things on the 1st.

My estimated delivery date disappeared too. I wonder what happened. I doubt its woot, prolly Fedex, unless the packaging was wonky... opinions? I'm probably gonna call Fedex.

Finally got my speakers today! These are pretty nice, especially for the money. Decent sound, solid construction - looks like money well spent to me.

Got mine today and hooked them up in the garage with my Sirius tuner.....sound great!

Perfect for the application I have. Probalby not so good for other uses, but the remote and 'fake' surround are perfect as a speaker set for stalite radio in my garage!

I am one of those people who clicked "I WANT ONE" before I read about the FAKE 5.1 lie monster threw on the box. Anyways I got the speakers today (in a destoyed box) and decided to use some electronic skills to make them truely 5.1 with my computer sound card. All I did is bypass the crappy wanna be Pro Logic decoded and ran the 6 speaker inputs from my sound card directly to the internal amp. Once you get into the sub, the decoder board and amplifier board are completly seperate. You can just jumper the wires to the 6 speaker inputs (only 4 are there and I added a stereo headphone jack to make 6). Connect the 6 speaker outputs from your sound card to the inputs on the sub and WAALLAAAA, you just got a kick ass TRUE 5.1 surround sound system for your PC. Monster could have saved money and sold alot more speakers if they did this in the first place. Anyways now i am happy, thanks again woot!!! If anyone wants a more detailed description on how to perform this mod leave a request post and I will put it on this board tomorrow.

id like it to ...puit right now im using the speakers for my 5.1 reciever and using the sub/computer part to replace my computer surround system ....to make it 5.1 true would help with my decision as what to use these for ...these little bugger speakers are heavy!!!

I got the speakers today but they don't seem to be working. Any help?

I connect the power cord. Connect the input from ps2,and the color coded connectors to the subwoofer. I don't hear anything. The power switch at the back seems to be not working. No matter which way I press in, the light is still lit in the front "standby". The remote control seems to be the only thing that is working. Standby light become solid after pressing the on/off button. The standby light flashes when I press the volume controls. What is wrong with my speakers?

I connected all the wires correctly and the amp-on light in the back of the sub is lit, but none of the three leds in the front work nor do the speakers work. When I flick the amp on and off, the speakers crackle but that's about it. Any ideas? Thanks.

What a disappointment. After waiting what seemed like an eternity for these speakers to arrive... I had the same problem with the light being on in the back too and none of the green LED's on the front lit... SO... after spending all of 5 minutes on the phone with Monster (they told me to send it back and they'd try to find a replacement to ship... however Woot bought out most of their stock as its a discontinued item)... I decided to take it apart.

After removing the screws in the back and pulling out everything attached to the panel... i found that whoever was putting the sub together neglected to plug the connector from the speaker into its corresponding socket on the circuit board. WTF!!! BTW its nearly impossible to plug it in yourself from the back as the damn wire is JUST long enough to reach it when the panel is all the way in. You'll have to take off the blue panel in the front, remove the speaker (unscrew the 4 screws... they appear to have some sort of loctite substance around them) and that should let you plug the cable in from the front. Hope this helps.

I'd also just like to add that after reading about Monster's atrocious lack of morality (they think they own the word Monster which apparently wasn't enough to stop me from buying) and now this shoddy workmanship and quality (aside from the fact that the unit did not arrive in working order... the front plate was almost detached when the unit arrive and the sticker about to fall off), I'm never buying Monster again.

hmm semms like other poel are having my problem too. Fedex scehduled it to be delivered on the 13th and guess what! its the 15th, STILL NO SPEAKERS!!!
