i have one of these and it makes a nice desk fan. not too bad for helping my laptop cool down either.

Maybe if it wasn't damn close to winter, I'd have no problem with this... but there have been so many fans today.

I bought one of these from woot earlier this year and one of it's speed settings just stopped working one day. More in shipping to get it fixed than I paid for it. Teh laem.

After 3 failed attempts to buy something, finally got thru in time. I needed a new desk fan so I will give this a try.

Is this dual voltage?

This fan is great. Bought some back in summer for higher price. Good fan to have around children.

...and off to bed for a few hours!

Yes....110 volt or 115 volt

At this price it is a steal.

These are awesome desk fans. Extremely quiet and work great. Bought mine from Woot a little over a year ago and have gotten nothing but "Where can I get one?" questions. In for 3, makes great office party Christmas presents.

member those hheavy egg type Gyro tops that would spin forever when rub the end of the egg shape accross teh floor?

remember how if you got it going and then stuck it in your ssisters hair it would tangle the heck out of it and she'd more than likly need a hair cut after that?

this fan reminds me of that day.

Bought a couple of these back in the Spring when they were a "twofer." They work really well if they're close by, but not a lot of reach. Fine little units.

truth! I do have a room fan from vornado. very nice.

These actually work pretty well. I got one awhile ago and used it at work. If you know any working women experiencing hot flashes, make sure you get them one!
