Meijer has these new on Thanksgiving for $199 - so a refurb for $229 isn't worth it for me.

I thought those were with the 3-cell battery though.

I have the same size netbook, but a different brand. I love it, plus it fits in most of my purses. The downside is the battery life, which is about two hours, however, it doesn't take long to charge it.

Over priced for a refurb, WALMART sells these for 198$ new... they had the Acer D250 at 198$ also.

OK, this is the GOOD ONE! Has the 6 cell battery (good for 6 hours - really!) and the 160 GB HD. Can upgrade to 2GB RAM for just a few bucks, and easy to insert with a single screw cover removal. I bought one a few months ago and IT IS GREAT!

This is a REAL VALUE. Go for it!

Both of my boys bought these from woot earlier this year, and after some minor modifications, including upgrading them to windows 7, they are thrilled with them... because they are students it only cost them $30 for the upgrade.. they added some more RAM and they are very happy

Did you really think it would come with XP pro?

But this has a real hard-drive at 160GB which is better then those joke SSD versions.
If I had waste-able cash right now I would be in for 1.

Which is why I like ASUS better... One of the 10" models has around 11 hours of battery life...

That or a TV that fits my stupid built-in space. 29.75" available and the stupid TV makers skip the entire range between 26" and 32". grrrr

I stayed up. Again.
