If I'm not mistaken (just bought a soccer ball last week for daughter) it is league sized.

Mitre is a "decent" soccer brand. Not top of the line, but not bad either.

I played soccer for 6 years pre-college and 2 years in college, and would buy a Mitre ball or two if I needed one. Size 5 is "adult" size, rather than children. I think they start using size 5 around age 14? Someone remember or know?

I think I saw them being sold in Walmart recently, which made me wonder if they have dropped their quality to be cheap enough to sell in Walmart. But worth $5.99. Just my 2 cents.

Size 5 is what you start playing with at age 12-13. At least that is the rule in my league. It's huge for a 3 year old!
