O M G! Went to the biggest grocery store around because I happened to be close by it. Felt like I'd been in a war zone. Hundreds and hundreds of people with shopping carts. I escaped relatively unscathed.

I bow to your wisdom.

Actually I sent Orc to do the grocery shopping earlier this week. I am sending a friend to get an extra pound of lean hamburger for dinner tonight. When we planned dinner we only were having 6 people, now we are having 8.

Lucky you. I've only got a few things, and I should be able to get them, pay and be out of there within 20 minutes.

I hope.

Otherwise, no mashed potatoes!

I was noticeing that. Cheap console, equally priced games, super expensive accessories.

Orc is debating one for Final Fantasy XIII, but I'm still leaning towards the PS3.

Oh sure, the kids just like it when we come to them. We made a snow globe out of a baby food jar at Ver1's event, lots of glitter everywhere.

Ver2's class is having a parent-led story time. I brought a board book copy of "Twas the Night Before Christmas". Then we are going to cut snowflakes out of paper.

When we get home my friends are supposed to be there, although they haven't called for the key yet.

Hey, Kid, maybe you need to move here. Just read in the paper where Cincinnati is tied for third nationally in the number of booksellers per 10,000 residents.

Wine at the dog park today!
It seems yesterday too. I wasn't there yesterday.

We deemed it a perfect dog park day. Packed snow, so no wet spots and no wood chips.
Dogs love the cold and play hard. No real fights.

They were giving it away, selling it? How was it? That'll teach you to skip a day.

Yesterday was one of the dog's birthday.
Her owner brought wine.

One of the guys thought it was a good idea, so today he brought two bottles. He said he had more booze in the house than he needed.
He forgot a opener. There was a 20 somthing year old guy (Way over 21) with a knife on his keychain. He got it open.

Tomorrow we are meeting at 1, because we will all be busy later in the day.
Maybe more wine!
2 bottles, there were about 12 people there. I had a small glass.

As I was leaving, I saw security coming. Then again, it was mall security. The local shopping strip..... extremely upscale....a few miles down the road uses the parking lot for employees at christmas.

They have a guard watching the cars for some reason.

OK, going to get something to eat, see ya!

Also, blue skys and sun. Plus wine. Plus only regulars!
One new puppy. He is visiting for Christmas.
Silly guy. Would growl and snarl at the other dogs and then cry when they went after him!

Since Daj isn't here anymore to give her weather reports for this area:

It was a glorious day today. It was sunny and 75* with a slight south breeze. Mrs. Ice ate @Fudruckers out on the patio.
Tomorrow they are predicting a chance of snow with 40 mph north winds....gotta love N. Texas weather

It was yucky here today. I think it got up to 70, but it rained off and on all day, so it was muggy.

It's cooling down now. I think it is supposed to get cold tonight
