I think I made someone at woot angry at me.

I got my BOC today after all.

Contents:
1 - Bottle of Victory Wax, Aggressive
1 - Flying Aces Messershmitt plane.

I'd post pictures, but I left the camera at work, I was in such shock.

Nothing else unless 14x10x8 is a coupon code (printed on the box).

For those keeping score, it is exactly what loftongal got.

Well, it is the first commandment...

THE HOLY scaffolding COMMANDMENTS v3.0

I. Thou shalt expect nothing beyond ONE bag of some kind and THREE crappy items.

II. Thou shalt not whine and complain when some people’s scaffolding turns out to be nicer than yours.

III. Thou shalt take a moment to consider whether you might be better off just not buying this scaffolding.

IV. Thou shalt not expect better scaffolding just because things are different this time. scaffolding is scaffolding.

V. To paraphrase Stephen Stills, shalt thou not get the scaffolding you want, want the scaffolding you get.

Mine came in to my office today. After the 60-mile round trip here's what I got in my haul:

1 Aeromist portable humidifier (I live in Alabama where any additional humidity is not considered a plus)
1 set of Philips portable MP3 speakers with carry case (neato!)
1 Pink Panther cartoon DVD set (going under the tree for the kids)
2 Wallet Pix devices
1 Groovy Music software for Mac or PC
1 Nextar solar-charging bluetooth wireless speaker in ultra-refurb condition
1 Spock figurine in his street-mime "man trapped in a glass box" pose from the deleted scene in "City on the Edge of Forever" that Harlan Ellison sued over
1 American Tourister photo bag
1 Sansa 8gig that powers on but the up/down controls don't seem to work (if I can't figure out why then it's scheduled for surgery at 2PM tomorrow)
2 Sansa charger cables (one opened, one pristine)
2 Sansa earphones (one opened, one pristine)
1 mystery USB to round connector cable, device unknown

and the true whiskey-tango-foxtrot item:

1 packaging from a SwissGear wireless multimedia presenter thing but no device. Maybe the mystery USB cable went with it.

All in all, an awesome bag, a mixture of the absurd and sublime. Thanks Woot, and Merry Christmas to all!

My second Boggy Old Creature has landed and it kicks my last one's butt. Fedex listed it at 7.9 lbs and 13.8 x 13.8 x 13.8. Sounds about right...maybe a little on the light side.

1 x Instruction manual for Pinnacle Video Transfer. Just the manual.
1 x NY Yankees dry erase calendar.
1 x American Tourist Photo Bag
1 x Cpt Kirk figure
1 x Spock Figure
1 x Whal comb and cut.
1 x Turbo Air Compact Blower
1 x 2 gig Sansa clip. Works great
1 x 6 gig Sansa MP3 player. Hold button sticks but will work if you wiggle it.

and the big winner....
1 x Microsoft 80 gig Zune. Returned without cables but works great.

Woohoo, my scaffolding had left Atlanta and is on the way to me in upstate SC! Oddly enough my dimensions (16.8 in. x 16.8 in. x 16.8 in.) and weight (25 lbs) have remained the same through every stop, so that's pretty cool.

I'm just worried I'm just going to get a bunch of wax and model planes. The planes wouldn't be too bad, especially if it shows up early and I get it before Christmas. It would make great little extra gifts for my nieces and nephews if they wanted any.

Have any of you guys received a box 15-25+ lbs yet? So far all of the really good stuff seems to be in boxes weighing less than 10 lbs.

That's it...nothing more...not even a packing slip or a nice note in the box saying "Merry Christmas." Sad, a bit disappointing for the entire family (given that we were ALL looking forward to it), and a bit of a turn-off considering we are wondering if it even made it worth the frustration of trying to get a Braindead Orderly Crustacean, much less the pittance of cost involved.

Not that we expected a big-screen TV, mind you, but this one (for the first time in three)truly lived up to the name...

Ok. So I have a question: When did SmartPost start requiring Signature Proof of Delivery??!!! FOR ANYTHING?!!!!

*sigh*

I arrived home tonite not expecting my Brigade of Carpathians, since it is scheduled for delivery on the 22nd. In the mailbox is Form 3849 "Sorry We Missed You!" card from the USPS requiring a signature! Total tease.

On the bright side, I now have the added hope that the signature requirement is to protect the extra crappy goodness from spies and international terrorists who might be driving around in my neighborhood looking for unprotected boxes with exclamations. It MUST be something awesome now, right?

Right?

If you want to be fully fair at keeping the scores, make sure to count all those who didn't get even a single crappy item, because they didn't score the bag at all! Sadly, I'm in that club this time around. Couldn't even load the "want one page"

On the other hand, it does vacuum to get this petty bag in the round where majority of craps seems to be on a better side... Hope you'll get the remaining item, and it will be great!

Stupidpost is making me sad. First they said I would get my Bulging Opulent Cranium on 12/22, then they pushed it to 12/26. Now they've moved it to 12/23 BUT it shows as leaving BROOKLYN PARK, MN 72 hours ago with no further updates.

How have I wronged you Stupidpost? What can I do stop this torture? I'll call you NotCompleteIdiotPost if you get my Bridge Over Canada by 12/23.

Flash light is a Smith & Wesson. Has a flash light, camp lattern cover and red signal cover.

Two Sansa's didn't work. One wouldn't boot and the other the ring didn't work. So I took both apart, replaced the bad ring with the good one, cleaned it up with some board cleaner and now I have 5 working Sansa's.

Haven't checked the G5 or the speaker.

Might make some good Christmas gifts.

Well, at least you keep on scoring! And that alone makes the karma not as sad (Ok, I'm just trying to be optimistic, and suggest the same to you!). My last bag was a little better than average overall (considering the average load was well living up to the name), and I love that purple gun .

But if I consider the load I got to be for two baggies, that becomes more crappy on average!

Don't give up, there may be another chance just a few days from now. Who knows what happens then!
