But i guess i can ask to see if anyone has any Sansa e280 and View connector cables they'd like to part with. (not sure if they're different or not as this is my first sansa)

Those cables, or anything Sansa, are super cheap on eBay, like $3 shipping included cheap.

I bought a power cable for one of the four Sansa Views I got, it was $3 shipped.

Well, my 4.7lb Bandolier of Carrots (number 4 for me) contained the following:

1 Quogs Kirk Vinyl Figure
2 Victory Wax (unopened--thankfully!)
2 Flying Aces
2 Pro Football Games
and...
1 8GB Sansa Fuze (works and looks new, but has music on it), USB and headphones included

The Fuze is awesome. I was hoping for a Pink Panther DVD instead of the football games, and a few hard drives, but I'm very pleased. Very nice bag! Can't wait for #5!

Going of 5 years of using woot now and this would be my 1st baby of the cosmos, just in time for Christmas.

So the question:
To Open or Not to open?

Unboxing of a baby of the cosmos
did end up waiting but only because it was the next day.
Items:
TAO Electronics 3.5” Digital Photo Frame with Pen Holder (returned) $18
Invisio G5 Blue-tooth Headset with Protective Charging Case (used) $35
Framed Star Wars Film Cells (new) $30
GoStereo Ipod Speaker system (new) $13?
American Tourister Camera bag (new) $10
Captain Kirk and Spock Vinyl Figurines (new) $6
WD 40gb IDE Hard Drive from 2004 (most likely busted) $0
Total: $112

The Blue-tooth was used and busted, and had to be put back together. Also it ear plug was full of someone else's ear wax, FUN!
Best part was the photo pen holder had someone else's photos on it, anyone recognize these folks?

My BofC didn't have one, so if anyone got a Western Digital SATA drive they don't want/ don't need/can't test, PM me please. I have a busted MyBook enclosure that I want to try out.

I'd offer trades, but most of the stuff in my box has already been liberated (though I do have a Spock, two model kits, and a DVI extension cable if you're interested.)

Yeppers...I got the letter...I recieved a 330lb pallet...it had a working PS3 on it, and then 16 boxes of action figures, the Brothers in Arms Hells' Highway ones, total there was 768 figures.

We gave 5 boxes to Toys for Tots, and we gave a box each to our nephews, so they have target practice for thier nerf guns, and my husbnad works at a apartment complex for seniors, so he took a box there to give to the people he knew had grandsons or nephews to give to them.

As for the rest of them, when I have a moment to breath I am going to try to put a few on ebay.

Yes I tried for the Santas Sak o'Carp...but I was half asleep and missed the link until it was too late...I got through, but it said I was in line...so that stunk. I did get a trash baggie off of Tanga...so we shall see what I get in that.

See you all during the next Woot-Off...I will be here with coffee in hand ready for the all-nighters! lol

Finally opened my Barrel of Chupacabra yesterday. It's been sitting under my Christmas tree taunting me for four days.

9.1 lbs (fedex reported 6lbs).
10x12x16 inches.

I got:

- 1 American Tourister camera bag
- 2 boxes of GE DECT 6.0 Cell Fusion phones (2 phones each)
- 1 Omnitech GPS system
- 1 Bottle of Victory wax
- 1 1/4-20 x 3/4" round head bolt with nut

None of the phones work. I get a fast flashing red light on them, and that's it. They've been in the chargers for 18 hours. Can't find any info online on how to fix them.

The GPS powers on, but doesn't find satellites. I found out online that Staples will upgrade the firmware at the store to fix the problem. I went there today and the manager couldn't find the upgrade disc. He exchanged it for a TomTom XL 340 for free. I can live with that!

Thanks, Woot!

A few bandolier updates from this shipment:

I tried using the digital food thermometer I got for our Christmas day turkey, only to discover that the jack where the temperature probe plugs into just isn't there. I was staring at the thing for 5 minutes trying to figure out where the probe plugs in (no instructions were included), finally figuring out that it was missing. Ironically enough, it's supposed to be just above where the "QC checked" sticker is.

Also, I finally got around to plugging in the 40 GB hard drive to see what it had. Whoever posted earlier suggesting that they came from DVRs was right, since my drive is working and still full of data. I can see all kinds of TiVo config files and scripts on it, plus tons of binary data which I assume are the recorded shows. From what I can see, there's nothing I'd be interested in watching on it (unless I'm looking at program guide data and not recorded shows.. I've never used a TiVo before so I'm not sure what data is where.)

No electronic gadgets

I too held off until the big day (Christmas) to open my boxed bag. 10.2 lbs. The order number being prime seems to have gotten me the default contents, albeit more of some of them:

- 3 American Tourister camera bags
- 7 small paper Woot bags
- A box of 12 or so Flying Aces model planes
- 3 Victory Wax Bottles (paint sealant) that didn't leak
- 2 Star Trek vinyl action figures (Kirk & Spock)
- 1 Electronic Football Game

Not bad! I can't wait to see what Santa's bag has in store...

Would anyone who received 2 Spock figures or doesn't want their Spock figure like to send one my way? I have Kirk and would like to get Spock so Kirk has some company.

Send me a message and we can work out monetary issues or a trade. Thanks!

My Boggy Old Creature seems to have been rifled through before I received it. According to tracking my order was estimated to arrive today (Monday Dec. 28th 2009). Fedex as magical as they are managed to ship the product on the 24th while I was away for the Christmas holiday. I never signed for the package but they decided to leave it at my doorstep. Yesterday (Sunday Dec. 27th 2009), after coming home, I found a battered box which had holes and bent corners with a very crappy taping job. I took it inside and opened it up to find the following:

(wonders of the Boggy Old Creature)
Victory Wax x3
Flying Aces x4
Star Trek Quogs x2
Pro Form Football toy x1
Fact or scaffolding book x1

Some of the packages inside the box had already been opened but the best part is that one of the Victory Wax bottles was completely open, empty, and covering the entire contents of the box. There was no packing slip and there was no bags of air or other forms of package padding. All other woot packages I've received were received in a much better manner so I was hoping to somehow resolve my issue to what in my mind brings new meaning to a baby of the cosmos soaked in Victory Wax (lol).

I read through some of the posts and didn't find other occurrences of this. Did anyone else ever have this kind of issue?

I've contacted service@woot.com and see what they say...

I had a box that only had 2 items in it (Woot said they are sending a replacement), but it did not have any padding. The box was in great shape, but it had a lot of open space in it, so the 2 items had to have been bouncing all over the place in it!

Well I waited until Christmas to open mine and I'm pleasantly surprised by the contents. Not as good as my first Boggy Old Creature (back in May) but there were certainly much worse from others this time around.

Here's to hoping for some better stuff in the Christmas SSoC that I managed to get!

4x Star Trek Quogs Vinyl Figure (2 Spock, 2 Captain Kirk. All factory sealed)
1x NFL Talking Proform Football (Factory sealed)
6x Alpha Forces - Flying Aces Models (Looks to be one of each model. All factory sealed)

If anyone has any interest in trading for any of this stuff send me a PM because I don't plan on keeping most of it.
