This is the 1st time I've seen a price change mid woot, but even for $39.99 (+$5 shipping) the $54.99 new one on newegg is a much wiser choice. Glad they realized how bad of a deal it was at $49.99 however.

While there are quite a few things that are, perhaps, actually IMPROVED as a result of being returned to the factory and refurbished, I don't really think hard drives are among them. If one of these ever fails, I wouldn't trust it with anything critical - "recertified" or not.

Been here for years. Tried every time for the Boggy Old Creature, never got one. I'm on a 10Mb fibre link, so a fast connection doesn't necessarily get you a better chance of gaining the Bag.

so you are saying that even after knowing for years how the servers and connection are not sufficient, that w00t is still not able to do anything like, buy servers that will handle the traffic, or hire someone that knows what the hell they are doing ?
