Got this identical drive from Tiger Direct back in March; after loading up my custom build and configuring everything, I rebooted clean and computer wouldn't boot. Hard drive failure.

I tried everything: freezer, different orientations, whispering sweet nothings to it, but nothing worked. Luckily it was warranteed but still blows screaming monkey phallus.

On the other hand, the ability to 'look before you leap' is what separates the survivors from the rest.

Well, it's new to you. And don't try to make it someone else's fault, YOU hit the button, YOU confirmed the transaction, all the while the system said "REFURBISHED" on it.

There has never been a way to cancel an order on Woot. Ever. You bought it, it's yours. The end.

Why would you buy this when for about $15 more you can get a new one with a 3 year warranty? $54.99 and free shipping on NewEgg.

Awwww, poor misunderstood Barracuda. He's so lonely without 4 others cuda's to form an array. I know he's small in terms of todays storage devices. He's perfect for a home server, if you haven't pirated every movie ever made in the last 30 years. Maybe you could store your "N Sync" collection on him, that way if he ever dies you won't have lost all that much.

Just a note for all those who are posting cheaper prices elsewhere, not that it makes a huge difference, but this a 32MB cache drive, not a 16MB.

I don't know if you can cancel orders during a woot-off, but I have canceled an order after pushing the big gold button a little too quickly.

Go the "write us" link at the top of every Woot page and fill out the form in the Write Us column or email service@woot.com.
