I hate to ruin your generosity, but you probably won't receive these by Christmas.

I got two of these for my little brother and sister [7 and 4 years old, respectively] when they were on Kids.Woot -- they absolutely love 'em. True, they're not the thickest material, but they're excellent for the price. The kids love unzipping them the full way and just using them as a decorative blanket, but if they ever get invited to a sleepover, they have what to bring!

My 4 year old really wants a sleeping bag, but not with pokemon on it. He saw these, groaned, and left the room.

I like my signature.

That's the problem: Japanese market folks getting inside our kid's minds to nag money out of their parent's wallets.

Pokemon is despicable and should be rejected at every turn.

It does say ages 4 and up. So it's not just for kids, its for everyone 49 inches or less.

In for one for a TV room accessory--my teenager and his friends still love Pokemon. Too bad it's too small (zipped) for my dog's bed--otherwise I'd be in for two.

OK, so what else could these be good for?

They'd make pretty good furniture pads if you're moving.

Small ground cloth under part of a tent if you're camping. (Even a real sleeping bag on the ground can get pretty darned nippy. Open one of these and put it under the floor of the tent where your sleeping bag will go.)

Packing material for fragile gifts.

Some sort of really terrifying Hallowe'en costume...

Who else has ideas?
