Using XP SP3, and Catalyst Media Center (really a Cyberlink made program) The results are, analog works fine. Digital (OTA) works fine. Digital (clear QAM) does *not* work.
Using gb-pvr, Analog, and clear QAM *does* work.
In windows 7 ultimate, don't bother installing Catalyst media center. You *do* need to install the windows 7 drivers from here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/tvtuner_win7.aspx?type=2.5&product=18.104.22.168.2.3.2&lang=English&rev=9.12&ostype=Windows%207%20-%2032-Bit%20Edition
With windows 7 ultimate, Windows Media Center, it finds Analog, and clear QAM just fine. (remember, for 650 card users, you need to connect the cable to BOTH inputs!)
The only real problem with Windows Media Center, is the bloody stupid DRM. It saves all files as .wtv. Those can't be used on anything but windows 7 machines. Idiots!
Yes, I know you can convert them to dvr-ms, but that still is a HUGE PITA, and it can take a very long time.
Now, just have to wait for the breakout box, so I can convert my old stuff... wonder if it will ship before Jan 30?
