anabsa wrote:It might actually get to the post office today then. I was tracking mine and got no updates. Finally went to the post office yesterday at 2:50 PM and I had a package notice. As of last night my tracking still showed only as departed Kansas City. This morning it finally updated that it was at the post office at 10:24 am! I would have picked it up sooner had I know!

Just checked again. Our truck from WV has arrived. It just got in 1.5 hrs ago. My shipment is now pushed back two days but if history is any indication, I'll have it tomorrow. Of course, I pretty much know what's in my SSOC due to the weight and this will be 4 out of 4 where I haven't gotten a good Boggy Old Creature. I keep hoping for one someday ...

1 ea GFM Digital Camera and Camcorder. Looks returned b/c someone loaded a trailer for a James Bond movie on it and the box was torn but it works great. It also plays MP3s and e-books and you can use it to record verbal notes. Very nice. All the cables, carrying case, CD, and the wrist strap were all there. $40 @ buy.com
Thanks Woot

I also got this camera and it also came preloaded with the James Bond movie trailer.

I just wanted to say, that looks like one of those bluetooth invisible headset thingies. Doesn't look like anyone ever told you what it was.

(Though, chances are with the size of this thread and how long it's been since the post, I doubt you'll see this. I bet you'll figure it out soon enough anyway!)

Did anyone get a Canon digital camera without a battery? It looks like I got a battery labeled Canon in my bag. If anyone is interested I can check the model number.

well...my ssoc just left LA and it's dropped from 12 lbs, down to 2.4.

me thinks strange things are afoot at the Circle-K. i find it strange that it stayed at 12 lbs from dallas to chino to LA. it only dropped when it left LA.

damn LA thieves!!!

Wife: Do you really need all this junk?
Me: At least I don't ask you if it makes me look fat.

My XM case also smells weird. It's like new-shoe smell combined with nutmeg.

I also discovered it's the perfect size to serve as a digtial camera case for my Pentax Optio M50 (a previous woot score).

Got my Brenda Omicron Carcinogen.

It's probably best that I recited the primary c.r.a.p. commandment before I opened it with my girlfriend: Thou shalt not get the c.r.a.p. you want, that shalt want the c.r.a.p. you get.

1x Spock Vinyl figure
1x Fact or C.r.a.p. calendar
1x Eargrips, Camouflage color (YOU CAN'T SEE MY EARS!)
1x Little Red Pail

All in all, not too bad. The calendar is kind of fun, the figure will go in my desk collection of junk and and I actually was going to buy myself a set of the eargrips when they came up, but got busy and forgot.

I don't know what the heck to do with the little red pail though. Probably fill it with cookies and drop it off something tall.

No picture, not worth the effort. Plus, you've all seen it. PM me if anyone has an extra set of woot lights or an XM case they'd send me for shipping.

Sorry - I missed the talk of it previously. I have a thing about not peeking on the forums when I have a Bag coming. I like not knowing what's coming in my box.

And even what I did see, I certainly didn't see anyone proudly proclaiming that they made multiple accounts to get multiple bags, so it was a bit of a shock to me.

It is an Invisio Blue Tooth. They are supposed to come with a charging case too. I received one in a previous Boggy Old Creature and it didn't work. I think Woot has a stockpile of these, all defective.

Sorting at local post office complete, here's hoping my mail person hasn't already started for the day. Considering how often I don't get my mail before 6 pm, there is probably a good chance.

I put my Zune in with the headphones. Nice fit. Now I don't have to buy a case for it. Also smells funny, but I had to put it up to my nose to notice. I wouldn't have if no one had said anything.

I plan on using mine for my Zune as well. I have another one from a previous bag that my wife uses for her iPod touch. This is the most versatile case/bag item I've ever received from Woot.

12 - bags of Texas air
1 - Woot Off Lights (orange)
1 - Flush Light
1 - Dressmaker II (Sewing Machine)
1 - Belkin Zipper Case for XM Xpress
2 - Packages of Christmas cards
2 - Mechanical Pencils
1 - Weird black clip that looks like an airplane
1 - gfm Digital Camera and Camcorder

Everything seems to be in working order. The Dressmaker (I cannot wait to make a dress) is Brand New. The camcorder works great and I think was a return...or maybe not...the box is just ripped a little on the back so maybe they could not sell it that way.

I am pretty excited about my Blunk of Cadillacs!

* 2 Neon Slinkies (One orange, one pink)
* 1 Sham-Ease 10-pack
* 1 Woot-Off USB Lights
* 1 Piece of tissue paper

All in all, I've had worse.
Thanks, Woot!

Apparently this camcorder has been admiring me from afar for some time. I didn't realize my new camcorder felt that way about me. I better let it down gently so as not to emotionally scar it for the rest of its life. It looks like it's been used and cast aside before.

Yeah, mine finally resurfaced in Edison, NJ after over 50 hours of travel from West Virginia.

Has anyone ever tried picking a package up from a fedex sorting center. I am trying to head back to school and its on the way and I don't feel like driving back home to pick it up later in the week. Do they let you pick packages up there or do you have to wait until it gets to a local post office before intercepting it?

Yep, that's me there at the very end. After over 130 Woots and trying for every block of cheese for 2-1/2 years, I finally won one. (How can so many people be on their fifth or sixth bag?) Winning the SSOC was the highlight of Christmas for my teenage daughter. I’m bracing her now for the inevitable pencil and calendar in my shrinking 2.1 pound box.

After starting in Wootburg on January 5, this little underachiever headed to Los Angeles for its death march back toward Indiana. Supposed to see it on Saturday where the little runt will be loved like any other from the litter.

(OK, so maybe I am secretly hoping that the ugly duckling turns into a beautiful swan. In my fantasy, Woot intentionally sent the letter-filled box to LA first so that it would be the last scaffolding to drop in a craptastic finale of monumental proportion to this great bit of communal fun.)
