Mine's been at Grove City, OH for over 24 hours. Can't be sightseeing, I've been to Grove City, there's no sights to see.

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Is anyone else having problems with my.fedex.com? Mine shows "no results" even though I have the tracking info for my SSOC saved. However, when I track by number from the regular site, it tracks just fine.

There site was having a problem maybe? Did the same for me just a short bit ago. I closed my browser and logged back in and it works fine now.

And three cheers for hurray! Mine has left Michigan and the post office has been made aware of its existence. I should have it 1/14 supposedly.

Chino, CA - weight-loss capital of the world.

Before reaching Chino, my SSOC was a respectable 9.7 lbs, and after leaving Chino, it dropped to a slightly trimmer 8.3 lbs, probably because it had to jog its own arse down the road, taking 26 hours to go from Chino to Los Angeles (map it - you could practically throw the package from Chino to LA). It just left KentWA, so I'm hoping it will be delivered today.

My wife's SSOC, however, takes the biscuit - or rather appears to have completely tossed its cookies. 15.7 lbs before reaching Chino, and seemingly quite exciting, it left Chino last night and arrived in LA a mere seven hours later. Clearly the faster pace exerted way too much energy, because the same package that used to weigh 15.7 lbs now weighs a mere 1.9 lbs. It's lost 88% of its own bodyweight and I fear for its life. Such dramatic weight-loss is rarely healthy.

A nagging suspicion that maybe there's a FedEx employee with a pocket that's now nearly fourteen pounds heavier lingers in the back of my troubled mind, but it clearly isn't appropriate for me to think such low thoughts of the highly-paid, well-trained and above all, scrupulously honest employees of FedEx.

Ah well, maybe she's going to get a letter.

Oddly, I got the exact same thing, though I feel better about it. I like the pencils (already have some), liked playing the Fact or Carp board game (which wasn't really about trivia but more about lying about it), the case is ... a bag that my iPod fits into, and I like Star Trek.

And the pills are a hoot.

No bags of air though .

Mostly, my last Boggy Old Creature was such a disappointment, this one is much better by comparison.

Big box on the front porch today. Not TV big, but my housemate did ask me if I'd sleep-ordered anything, as it said "Lexmark" on it. I replied that, by definition, I would not remember if I had sleep-ordered it, and we hauled it in. Turned out it was my Santa's Sack 'O scaffolding:

1 Lexmark wireless printer, apparently complete with cables (!) and manual. Looks new, but it could be a reefurb.

1 Belkin XM Radio case.

1 Slinky.

I have mixed emotions, as this appears to be a 'Jackpot' for this Boggy Old Creature, but all I need to do to have a working printer is put the ink cartridges I already have in the old Canon printer I already have. I'm not completely sure I want this, so anyone have a trade to offer? Anyway, thanks, Woot.

My Santa Sack of scaffolding arrived yesterday, a day ahead of schedule. (Sorry, no picture since most of the craps were given away before I got to a camera.)

But the 5.6 pounder included the following:

1x Power Squid (1080 joules, 5 outlet)
2x GFM 35mm cameras
1x Belkin zipper case for an XM receiver
2x Sanford PhD mechanical pencils
1x case of organic black tea (6 canisters with 16 tea bags in each)
1x Woot Lights

A cool haul overall. I can use the PowerSquid somewhere and actually wanted a set of Woot Lights. I'm just not so sure how I feel about having been Tea bagged by Woot.
