170 is good for a guy. Even a not too tall guy.

I lost a solid 15 after the gallbladder that never came back. Plus the water weight that must have been from being sick. I was really mad after son was born. I didn't lose anything! Baby, water all that other stuff, somehow didn't weigh a thing! Lost it a little while later.

I'd lost a couple pounds right after the delivery (they weighted me on Tues). I didn't really lose the weight after Ver2 though, so I was heavier this time. Oh well, first I gotta get my belly mended. I've still got staples and tape holding me together.

Tape? I know staples. Why not stitches? Easy access if the infection got worse and they wanted to go back in?
AZGman wrote:She cleans and cooks; I'm not very good at either any more.
Are you off work tomorrow, too? I just saw on FB that Quantico is still closed tomorrow. Darn, forgot to hit post.
Castle was good again. It sounds like next week is going to be a repeat again.

They wanted the innermost to seal first so they left everything open (just staples) and packed the incision with gauze for the first few days. This had to be pulled out and replaced (a very painful procedure). They put the tape strips on to pull the incision together after we stopped packing with the gauze. Either the pulling on the skin or the tape caused blisters.

Oh, the thing they forgot to give you the pain killers for. I was ready to drive out there and smack both the doctor, and the nurse who forgot the pill. Blisters? Just what you needed.

Yep, he said he was off.
Everyone gone? Dog just had a wheezing attack. I hate breathing stuff. Off to bed. Might have to get up early with the dog, plus I missed Mom day, so I have to go. Might pay son to stay home from his job with the dog.

Are you supposed to get snow this time around?

They say it is almost certain. I have an braces apt on wed. It is in the afternoon. I hope I can go. A tooth that isn't suppose to be moving is moving a lot.. I'm going to still have braces when I die of old age.
I'm glad the vet took us right away. I was looking for something tomorrow. I have to use the harness on him tomorrow. The collar sets if off if he pulls.

The nurses were generally really good, the doctors just made their rounds at random, and prior to his visit I hadn't been in pain. Although even with the pain killers it was pretty bad. I think my abdomen will look like a war map by the time I recover.

I wonder if dogs are like people, where usually within 24 hours of starting the antibiotics, they're feeling better.

Orc told us about that. We were really mad! That doctor was lucky you live so far away. Abdomens don't look all that great after 3 kids anyway. When ver3 goes to school you can get back into shape. That gives you a few years! How is he doing? When you feel a little better, post some pictures. I would say on facebook, but I don't know what the heck they are doing. The pictures would get lost. I love the way a computer dictionary doesn't recognize facebook as a word!

Ver3 is doing well. He's already stretched another inch and has gained 4ozs onto his birth weight. It seems like someone is always giving him a bottle though.
I don't like the keyboard on this new computer as much as the old. Then again the old one died. Totally. Nothing when we try to turn it on. Good thing I whined and got the new one! OK, If KtC hasn't returned from last post, I'm going this time! Goodnight Poof. I really haven't really talked to you in awhile. Why? How did we miss each other?

I talked about Rusty.
I'm still around. I'd be happy for the new computer, new things just take time to get used to.

4oz isn't that bad. Son shot up to the 95% in weight in no time. Outgrew stuff daughter was wearing at 4 or 5 months in a few weeks. Same damn milk that my daughter was "fail to thrive" on. I don't get it. Now he is 150lbs and 5'11", so in the end, it doesn't mean anything.

I know, in general.

He's growing fine according to the doctor, but we'll see what happens. I really don't like the bottles. He has lots of gas and air problems that the girls never had.

If I lose sleep, it will be your fault!!!! It didn't take that long because hubby downloaded the entire old machine onto the new one. Now everything is the same. Which is good, but in a way, it is like not having a new machine! I still have to figure out how to erase bookmarks. I have some from 4 years ago, plus some I only need to see once more, not forever! OK, sorry to say this after spending so much time waiting for you to come back....goodnight KtC! I never found out if you felt better today than yesterday. Hope so. See you tomorrow! Night again Poof!

That falls under the category of stuff you can't do anything about. I remember changing my diet all the time with daughter. Not so much with son. At least the girls and you parents and Orc can have the fun of feeding him now. You'll get him back soon enough. Boys like boobies, he'll get the hang of it!

Good morning. Probably at least three more inches of snow outside and still coming down. Husband's making a large pot of coffee and we're set for the day. Edit: And Woot's still screwed up for me.

It would seem that around here we are finished getting snow for a while. It didn't really do anything here compared to what they thought. An inch max I'd say. Just enough to make the ground white again.
Oh, well, we're just going to get something like FIFTEEN to TWENTY-FOUR INCHES by tomorrow night with THIRTY TO FORTY MPH winds. ...to go on top of the thirty inches we already have. :^(
Husband shoveled a path to the newspaper and says it's more like five inches out there. Of course, he tends to exaggerate.

This sounds so horrible.
Mornin', folks.
