I bought a Refurb Proscan 32" LCD 5 years ago and it is still rolling like it was new. As I've said many times, I buy everything refurb. Listen people, refurb is no different than a new pristine unit. Why do people assume that it's a damaged good? Do some research, will ya!?

Every refurb I've purchased is still just as good as new and I've bought tons of them. Don't confuse reconditioned or something done at a second vendor with refurb. Refurbished goods are done at the factory they came from and in most cases they never get out of the factory before being fixed.

Regarding the "box" -- read the writeup, and it all makes sense!

Wait, what? The only thing actually broadcast in 120 Hz is a few select sports channels. That's it. When you have 120 Hz and watch anything playing at less (let alone when you have 240 Hz) the motion endsup looking wonky as the image keeps playing faster then slower, faster than slower.

It's not always things that are nice about a product, if you post information about a product you can get one. Even if it's your own personal opinion and it's negative towards the product.

Actually, Proscan is a division of RCA. I bought a 37" Proscan a while back and I love it - got a pretty good deal on it too.
