Wasn't there just a keyboard like two woots ago? This one is considerably more expensive but I guess it does come with a complimentary computer and wired mouse to boot!

Gonna install Crysis on this as soon as I get this.

There is a glut of PS/2 mice and keyboards on the market. They are still significantly cheaper than USB.

Yea, but then again we all know we upgrade our PC and give Grandma our old one... Not worth it for me... Maybe the next Woot will be better..

Personally, I'd rather not waste USB ports on the keyboard and mouse ... notable exceptions aside, you always have a keyboard and a mouse, so why not have dedicated ports for them?

Anyway, this might a good temporary fix for my 7 year old PC (granted, it's a Xeon, but it's still starting to show its age) ...

This is a very small slimline case. Don't even know if it will take a low profile card.

DONT buy if you're looking to upgrade anything other than the RAM.

PS/2 mouses and keyboards keep your USB ports free

2gb ram for win7 is just asking for trouble.

I'm calling my Grandma right now. She just switch to Verizon DSL & it's not compatible with her VERY old WinME OS...

So, it only has a 220W power supply, 2 memory slots, which are already taken, and I can't find anywhere whether it has any PCI slots at all. This is not an upgradable computer is it?

Us Grandmas do appreciate something once in a while! We shop woot, too. Even got a boggy old creature once! Fun!

Bought an EMachine on a woot off a few back for the kids' grandfather. He loves it, though switching to MS Office 2007 (no included, duh) gave him fits.

9 USB ports, 5 audio jacks, and multiple card reading ability? Win. 2 Gigs on a Windows 7 Desktop? Fail. Even if it is capable of 4 gigs, its just not worth it.

Anybody know if you can still just say "I don't accept" the Windows EULA and get a check back for not installing Windows? I know someone tried this a few years back and it worked. If you could, this might make a good, nearly free, Linux-based home server.
