This reminds me of a category on the old MTV game show Remote Control, "Dead, Alive, or Indian Food." Back in those un-PC days, pemmican was one of the Jeopardy-style "answers". This could be classified as pemmican...

Yes, it seems expensive AND there is a lot of gristle in it. I don't get it.

This jerky does not taste very good. I would rather have 7-11 jerky or snap into a slim jim.

Got this last time:

I enjoyed the Sweet Chipotle, Chile Lime, and the Garlic Chile, but was NOT a fan of the Pineapple Orange or Sweet Teriyaki.

Definitely worth the $20, this stuff is really good.

An artisan (from Italian: artigiano) is a skilled manual worker who crafts items that may be functional or strictly decorative, including furniture, clothing, jewelry, household items, and tools. The term can also be used as an adjective to refer to the craft of hand making food products, such as bread, beverages and cheese.

Manufacture by hand and with hand tools imparts unique and individual qualities to artisanal products, in contrast to mass produced goods where every one is nearly identical. Artisans traditionally work in media such as wood, ceramics, glass, common and precious metals, basketry, textiles, esparto grass, and leather.

Not even close. Including the shipping, $5 per bag? If it's good stuff, that's not expensive at all.

I think Woot! is trying to "jerk" us dieters around.... these daily percentage values are too low if i am looking to reach my goal of 2000 calories a day.

So it is boughten.... So it must be paid off with a second job!

Before you buy this check the comments when this was on wine.woot It got slammed by the jerky gourmets (and most everybody else) there. It was marked down for it's ingredients (too much added sugars in various forms) as well as artificial flavors and preservatives. It also took a hit on price, this isn't a very good deal. Passsed then, passing now.

i got this last time. The jerky is very good--but several of the flavors were VERY spicy. I like spicy food but it was too much for me. My fav was the pineapple.

You can't charge a premium for a "healthy product" then have HFCS as one of the first ingredients.

Either go cheap, or go quality, but don't try to do cheap and quality. It doesn't work.

bhcompy

Price seems pretty fair on a per ounce basis. Essentially 5$ per 3.5oz bag, which is slightly more than Enjoy Beef Jerky's price for a 3.65oz package of jerky, and Enjoy is not "craft" jerky as this appears to be.

This is the worst tasting jerky in the world! Being a jerky lover I ordered 2 of these last time and it has been the worst purchase i have ever made. I couldn't even finish one bag. The rest i gave away to people i did not like. This jerky is over flavored and does not taste like jerky!
