I used to plug these fine lights into the usb port on my printer and they'd turn on whenever I finished a paper or had something to print out. They were alerting me to the awesomeness that was about to ensue from the printer... Now I have my lights atop my monitor flashing to commemorate this wonderful waterfall of woots!

Love the lights! Problem is only one spins while the other is still. So I have to switch them every once in a while to even out my vertigo.

You can't make more than one purchase, but you can make multiple attempts. If it fails for a wrong billing zip code, you still get a pending charge. Every time.

i plan on putting mine in my car, prolly the back window, so as i drive people can be mesmerised by my lights and miss their turns...

use the velcro straps and strap them to a helmet then wear the helmet.

I get the same thing when I order USPS labels online and it doesnt go thru bcz of USPS error and I still get a pending charge on my paypal. But after a few days it should clear up!

Well, for me it was, for real. Missed the Box Event because I got to spend the evening at the hospital, getting xrayed. I should get the preferred customer treatment there -- spent the wee hours there last night too -- my toddler woke up screaming in agony at three in the morning, rushed him to the ER where they diagnosed him as having "croup" whatever that is. I was worried about that flu -- he had a horrible sore throat (clutched his neck and screamed), and his lungs were so congested it sounded like a death rattle. Scared the hell out of us. This all happened in the space of a few short hours after he went to bed perfectly healthy.

So... I got two of these lights for my wife to use in her classroom. Don't ask how, I don't want to know. ) -- she said a while back she could use them in the computer lab for something or other.

Yeah, I'm on the sofa with my ACER netbook from Woot, watching my Tivo recording of the Olympics. I still am being drawn to buy these, I bought a couple of giant monkeys.
