Oh, noes!!! So sorry, Lynn.

Um, now that the pleasantries are over, how in the hell did a kayak run over your foot?

Later everyone, gonna try to take Ver1 to cloverbuds. She doesn't want us to leave, but we aren't required to stay, so I was going to take Ver2 and Ver3 to the park, somewhere, since it's all warm again. Problem is still hurting when I walk. . . uggh!

well, nephew was kayaking and came up to where my sister and I were in the ocean - he was telling us how his dad and our bro dumped over in their kayak. The waves were pretty impressive so we walked back toward shore and he got out of his kayak - it was getting swung around in the waves and I didn't get outta the way fast enuf. Damn thing drove straight over the to of my foot. Swelling is impressive. Actually seems to be a lot of fluid over the injury.

oh well...don't need two good feet for parasailing - that's on tomorrows agenda

See that is why while showering in prison you carry two bars. If you drop one you just forget about it and use the second.

I survived, and I talked Orc into finally getting wii fit plus so I can weigh the baby. So I'll be checking that out when the baby wakes up.

Ver1 didn't do so good flying solo at Cloverbuds. Orc came home to help me get everyone in the car and so I took him back to work (since the power was back on) and then took Ver2 and 3 to the park by campus. The leader called and said Ver1 was crying and if I could come over (she lives about as far from campus as you can get and be in town - like a whole 15 mins away.) Got back and Ver1 was fine as long as she knew I was in the house. Ended up running the making fishing reels out of pop cans activity while the scheduled volunteer helped the leader and kids paint fish and press them onto t-shirts.

Mostly I measured ~50ft of fishing line tapped one end to the can handed to a child, then untangled all the knots.

Loading too slow. I'm going to sleep. Mom day tomorrow.
Hopefully, after the dog park, because the dog is bored.
Too many people in the house this weekend. Daughter, boyfriend, band.
They are all gone now.
Got to put the poor cats room back to normal.

The worst thing about surgery day for Maisy?

Her hunger. She's ravenous by the time she gets home since she didn't get breakfast. She growled and grumbled on the way home. I thought she was just still high.

But then she kept growling and grumbling while running between her food bowl and me. Wait an hour, the doc says. BS on that. Gave her a little rice. She did fine. Gave her some more rice a bit later. Did fine. Gave her the rest of her supper with some wet dog food. Did fine. She had a few nibbles of my dinner.

She's staring at me and whining. She's still hungry.
