I bought the Hannah Montana alarm clocks for 1 cent each. Either one or two for granddaughters and the other for donation Christmas presents next year.

I didn't see those. I didn't need them. But they would make good Christmas donations....

Hi Poof!

I also almost bought the fleece blankets for the cat. Then I realized we have tons of random towels that just appear in the house every year.

I can't figure that out, since we have no pool or hot tub.

I might give up and go to sleep early.
Gotta play catchup with the doctors and make sure I'm alive enough to have surgery next week.
Tiny surgery that you can walk home from.

But hubby nicely reminded me that the last three surgery's I had didn't work as planned.
Swell.
I never thought of it that way before.

#1 gallbladder ...cured the pain but the IBS started right after it.

#2 cataract ...was too big to come out in one shot. Had to be lazered 6 months later, which left a shadow in the vision
I just figured it was the meds I took for two years. They all made cataracts worse if taken more than two weeks. The shadow is just really annoying

#3 the bone graft in the gums. I'm damn sure there is less bone now than before the operation.

I can definitely see some benefits to unplanned surgery. . . . heck I doubt where I signed my name is either legible or has all the right letters. I was so out of it I could barely make out the line.

We have VHS kids videos, we also started buying them before we married.

The gallbladder was "come bake to the office. You are going to meet the surgeon and be operated on tomorrow morning.
Fine with me. Nothing to think about.

I wonder if your consent would hold up if you needed to sue.
Not that they had a choice about doing the surgery.
Heck, they were a week late doing the surgery.

You must have been like me. Not presenting the proper symptoms or test results for what you actually had.

Do you know how messed up your abdomen is when you are pregnant? I had every symptom for what the checked me into the hospital with. My doctor's felt horrid about what happened, and before the rupture no one had a clue. Even after doing research the few things that could clearly be "oh that's because my appendix was probably swollen" are super tiny insignificant stuff considering how hard it was for me to go into labor and the fact that I had to be induced.

If I hadn't signed Orc would have.

It listed pregnancy as a complication. You aren't the first that had both.
It was bad timing on your body's part to have both at the same time.
I'm sure the pressure of body parts being squashed made it much worse.

There was no choice about the surgery. I was just wondering about the legality of your consent.

True. . . My super high pain tolerance and my abject stubbornness probably didn't help either. I was still refusing pain meds after my appendix ruptured even though I couldn't stand up until my doctor forced me to take the prescription with me.

Yeah well, if it really came down to it, I'd signed a consent for treatment when i checked into the hospital about 5 times that month anyway.

I'm too lazy for a home birth, I want room service! And actually I didn't have problems with the birth, just after I'd already gone home, and I had to sign a form to go back into the hospital.

Good night. M-i-l day tomorrow unless it's raining too hard. I told her tonight that I might call her in the morning and postpone till Friday if it's raining too hard. Said she, "The rain doesn't bother you, does it?" Please note I'm dropping her at the door of everywhere we go. I'm the one running through the rain.
