So here's my though for those that don't want an avatar, granted it will take a little work...

1) Create free throw-away account at Yahoo/Google
2) Use throwaway account to create false persona on facebook. Include all sorts of misleading personal info as you set up the fake FB profile. Really make those marketing drones wonder about the info they get from you.
3) Upload non-avatar image as FB profile pic. Suggestions include 1 pixel by 1 pixel transparent .png image, blank gray that matches the woot background color, box of text stating "this is my avatar" etc.
4) link fake FB page with woot, and import new non-avatar image.

I kind of can't believe you don't like yours, but you could upload a clear image to your Gravatar account. (Go to gravatar.com, sign up for an account with the same email you use on Woot, upload a spacer gif or other transparent graphic, then back at Woot go to change avatar & pick the Gravatar option on the right side.)

Hi all.

Love testing when a whole bunch (almost 50%) of the tests fail because one itty bitty set-up step wasn't done right.

*sigh*

Getting these folks to test the first time was horrible. Getting them to re-test is a joke.

Glad it wasn't me that made the set-up error.
