Since it has a line-in feature - then it would work with the iPhone (if you have the aux input cords!).

Yes it will work. It has all the adapters so that it will fit all generation iPods up the touch. I am not sure specifically about iPhone functionality through the doc per sey, but it has a Line In jack, which means if nothing else, you can connect to your iPhone/iPod/Zune/whatever-else-has-a-headphone-jack that way.
