SmartPost is having all sorts of fun with my wife's carp. Instead of going to Kansas City on the way to Iowa, it was put on the truck to Phoenix. Today, it's finally...

...back in Dallas.

So... I was wondering if someone could help me with this issue I'm having.

I shipped my epic adventure to my campus post office of which I have a P.O. Box and when I signed up for my mailbox they were like blah blah blah we only take USPS. So I was like okay. But for some reason I tried shipping a camera I bought off woot like 2 weeks ago to it and it worked! It went by FedEx and the post office put a key in my box to a larger box to get it. I was like score! So, I figured it would work for my epic adventure but unfortunately this is what happened when it got there. (image)

Will it get shipped back to Woot HQ and then they'll e-mail me asking to ship it somewhere else? Will they keep it and give me my money back?

Anybody know what's going to happen?

I don't know how Woot will handle it, but it wouldn't hurt to email Customer Service to ask in advance. You also might track your package with usps.com (same tracking number) to see if there is anymore information as to why the package was outright returned to sender.

Got mine!

1x Amber Woot-off Lights
1x Jonas Bros accessory case (off to a good home... with my younger sister's friend).
1x Brown grim reaper shirt that I don't recognize (in WXL, which works!)
1x Disney flix software... for a camera I don't have. Anyone want it, send me a PM.

My boyfriend got his too, but since he's not forum-active, I'll post his, too:

1x Blue/Red woot-off lights
1x Winnie the Pooh toothbrush holder
5x Christmas cards
1x Bluetooth home/cell phone system (which is really cool!)

(And for the sake of argument, both my boyfriend and I are active wooters, we wooted our own adventures separately, and I don't see the issue in each of us getting our own box. ESPECIALLY because neither of us uses a bot, and neither has gotten a bandoleer of carrots outside of the special days.)

Dear Woot Gods,

How you could forget the "Bag" from the "Bag of Crap". What kind of deities are you? I'm guessing you must be of the Greek variety, as they are the only deities I'm aware of that make such tragic blunders. Maybe you were too busy staring at your own reflection, flying too close to the sun, drinking massive quantities of wine, or making love? Whatever the answer, without the "Bag" we have only "of Crap", which is hardly proper English.

If you want to earn our worship back, it's going to be an epic journey. I suggest you take a long, hard look at yourself (unless you can't stop looking at yourself), fire up the chariots, and shower us with wine and love. Either that or give everyone a black square for a day, so no one is better than anyone else.

Sincerely,
joshaw

P.S. - I really just wanted to see my new black square, I don't really want a Jonas case, I swear.

Stuff arrived, lady at post office was already heading to the back to retrieve it when she saw me coming. "I knew this was yours!" she said, handing over a box and 2 shirtWoot bags.

Same stuff as everyone else, so no pics.
1.9 lb

2 pink Lego ipod speakers, which actually fit my Nano
1 very large penguin impostor tee, up for trades
1 Jonas Bros. case (given to friend's 12-year-old girl)
1 set amber wootoff lights (drat, wanted the red and blue ones)
4 Texas air pillows, none DOA

Thanks Woot! The 12 year old is happy, and I have reusable packing material, a blurry ? shirt and a no longer Legoless iPod.

Hubby still has one coming, and like someone else mentioned above, we got 'em both on our own, on separate computers, the hard way with no gallivanting alpacas. All tracking info said both boxes and both shirts were here at the same time but his wasn't at the P.O... hope it shows up tomorrow.

I even buy the Cr@p that ISN'T random.

I wish only people with this attitude had the chance for the hernia. The whiners are a real bring down. Sure I would have loved an iPod, computer, or television, but just getting one is a joy. I didn't get anything worth writing home about, but just being able to enjoy the suspense and the joy in opening it is what it is all about.

My wife (a teacher) was having a garage sale at the school to raise funds for something or other, so she took 40 of them with her (I laid claim to 10 for friends who woot). Of the 40, they sold 21 for 50 cents each, raising $10.50 for the school. The remaining 19 will be added to my wife's treasure box for when the kids earn a prize.

Penguin impostor tee, unknown size since the tag was clipped off but looks like a large or XL
Jonas Brothers case
Amber Woot-off lights to match the ones from my November crap

May add a picture later.

Jonas Bro Bag
Slinky Jr.

And haven't read pages 87 - 90 yet, but my unique item is a

Sharper Image TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) Back Pain Relief System.

Looks like it was opened and put together but not used. Some of the plastic bags inside were opened and the gel things are on the back pad, but still have their covers on them. All I am worried about is that some woot staffers put them on their nutsacks like in Jackass and then reboxed it up and shipped it to me.
To try or not to try.

My c.r.a.p. is out on delivery today. I'm so excited! It's my second bag; my first being 4/1/08 so it's been a while. I've had dreams about opening the box.

After reading what others have received, I really want a slinky. It's sold as c.r.a.p., I expect c.r.a.p., but I'd really like a slinky.

I might be able to use the tripod and sell the lights, at least...

No clue why everyone gets upset about the bag. He's obviously joking, but the rest are just silly. I didn't get one, and I'm glad I don't have more junk because of it!

Thanks for trying to fool the gallivanting alpacas, Wootgods. I managed to get one of the very last ones at 12:45am CDT and was very happy, since normally they are gone at 12:00:03. My son and I love opening these, even if they are just dollar store stuff. We got a Roomba once, but otherwise we've gotten everything from a random mass of wires to a wrestling action figure, to a 3' yellow comb. It's the thrill of opening an unknown package is why I "waste" the $8.

My best haul yet:
4x hammers (perfect for a network administrator)
2x pink iPod speakers (I'm a Zune/Android guy)
1x picnic basket (my GF will appreciate this)
1x amber Woot lights (can never have enough of these.)
1x HSM decal wall clock (forgot this originally as I tossed it in the pile from my last epic adventure).

And, best of all,
1x McSsection that actually fits me. (I had to ask the HR manager if wearing a graphic tee over my standard dress-code compliant attire violated any policies, she said it did )

My monkeys also showed up today in the awesome new box (keeping it away from the recycling patrol will be tough).

Thank god I read the recent posts in this thread, really helps keep my expectations down. I got my box today, but want to wait til my fiancee comes home before opening it. It's such a tiny box though, lol, about double the size of the monkeys box. Last epic adventure I got came with a Brother printer/copier/scanner, so I can't complain too much.
