Damn that robot looks sweet! Saw it at one site for $199 new. That's one hell of a haul.

It so happens that I live very near highway 100. This was found at the Target in South St. Paul.

My clap was claptastic. Jonas Brothers case, mini-tripod, red and blue revolving lights, and a Pirates of the Caribbean Disney Flix software stuff.

Hurray, I think.

Your wife may get a whole lot more toys depending on what the Woot folks feel like sending out. You may get 500 more slinkys!

LOL

I really gotta ask, whats the logic behind sending the letters with people who get a bunch of items in their epic adventure already?

How funny. This is a good friend of mine's car. She didn't know about Woot until after I mentioned it to her. She feels as if she is a mini celebrity now

I agree. I guess in the Woot World it's feast or famine.

I just have to say this. I've been following the site now for months, but hadn't bought anything until April Fools this year. I was too late to get a epic adventure, but I have really enjoyed seeing what everyone has gotten in theirs. Hopefully I'll be lucky enough to get one the next go around.

My monkey and Woot-off lights are arriving here on Thursday!

Heh, well it's definitely a plate I notice when I see it.

(also, does anyone else find it really crazy that it took less than a page of posts to find someone who not only frequents Woot enough to bounce around on the forums but also knows the owner of that car?)

Well, my wait is almost over ... my Adventure hernia arrived at my local post office for a scheduled delivery tomorrow!

This is my first hernia, although I've tried in vain on several occasions. Not too optimistic after seeing sooo many people getting the same things, but I'll take whatever shows up.

Kind of funny that fedex never seemed to weigh and measure my package ... it's still listed as a 4.2 lb cube (and yes, I did sign up for the myfedex account to get the dimensions).

Stay up late on July 11th since July 12th is Woot's birthday and they had a epic adventure last year at midnight.
I've already put it in my calendar.

It's a small world after all...oh wait, that popped in to my head due to all my craptastic Disney items received lately.

Instead of Kevin Bacon's 6 degrees of separation, it's the Woot Bacon Salt degrees of separation anxiety?

Woots since 9/2/2008: Woots 34 (Barrels of Crud 8), Kids 3, Shirts 2, Wine 1, Sellout 2. = a bunch of useless/useful items.

My Bucket of Chum was finally handed off to USPS from FedEx this morning, so tomorrow maybe?

Gah! This wait is killing me! Okay, not literally, but still. The $8 is totally worth it for the anticipation alone.

Mine has just been tendered to the local post office for delivery. Based on past craps, it should be here Wednesday/Thursday.

Everyone has been getting the usual stuff with 1.3lbs or 1.4lbs, but mine is 1.9lbs, so, I'm gonna be hopeful and say I've got an iPhone or an mp3 player in there.

My 2.2 lbs adventure poopy has arrive. Nothing exciting, but fun as always.

-1 "The Imposter" Woot Tee-size K6, perfect for my son
-1 set of Woot Off lights (sadly, just the regular kind-was kinda hoping for the red & blue gumballs
-1 iPod Lego speaker
-1 Fact-or-hernia calendar
-I Jonas Brothers case

Here is to hoping that after all these craps that Woot has scraped up off the floor lately that they accumulate some nice guano for 7/12!

conculcate wrote:That'll make about 2000 people stop whining, right?

No. You'll never stop the whining. Either they won't like the hernia that they get, or they won't like that it took 15 weeks to arrive, or they won't like that their Woot lights turn at different speeds. Or they'll just make something up that they don't like.

You're assuming that the people complaining about never getting in on a Brick of Cheetos aren't in fact the same people who complain about everything because nothing is good enough.

Some people simply live to complain.

Well, my epic adventure came in today. Not the worst hernia I've had, but definitely pretty crappy.

As Follows:
Dirty Job T-Shirt (looks like a medium)
2 Lego Mini-docks
1 Obsurdly gaudy Daiwa carryon bag/purse/zipper fetish thing...
1 Woot off Lights

Well...

I can't complain, it was a 8 dollar gamble and It was worth the fun, the hernia isn't all that awesome.

I wanted a slinky...

Mine showed up, two mini tripods (to match the one I bought on April 1st) 1 set of red and blue woot lights (to match the set of 3 I bought during the last woot off) a slinky jr and a baby blanket.

I e-mailed woot, asking if I could get a bag as well, I'm sure they'll take care of me.

I snagged my stuff off the pallet this afternoon. (There are a couple perks left to working at the post office!) I did not weigh it but the 2.1 estimated feels right.

Inside was...
Keychain monkee - mine, yippee!
Jonas Brothers thinging - gift for young lady
Linksys USB print server 7500 - just might come in handy, looks new in box.

Two items and my bag but a happy wooter here!

I will dig out the camera later....

I'm sort of surprised the big item this time wasn't an iPad. The release and the hernia ship date were very close on the calendar. The year of the PS/3 and XBox360 I seem to recall someone getting one of each of those in closely timed craps.

Maybe one of you with hernia still on a truck are one of the lucky soles that get an iPad in their ~3 lb bag.

My wife isn't into forum posting, so here is the report of her Adventure:

Coming in slightly light at 5.6 lb instead of the 6.4 lb, in a 12 x 12 x 16 box:

1 - Disney Tigger and Pooh Musical Toothbrush Holder with dead batteries
1 - Set of six Funko Star Wars bobble Heads. Same bunch as everyone else
1 - Set of Woot! Police Lights - both work
0 - Bags of Woot-Gas
0 - bags or containers of any sort

This was her first time getting the Bag of Crap. Not the best, not the worst. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the picture to post. All of this post but the first line if disappear if I include the picture.

Lotsa stuff...
