Hmmmmm.

Well, have to have corn because that's the only vegetable another guy will eat. //just weird//

Then use fresh, chopped spinach or diced fresh green beans or snow peas and saute everything together!

Mmmmm, snow peas. That's different. So in a couple tablespoons (?) of olive oil (or exvoo?) I'll saute the snow peas, red and yellow peppers (maybe even an orange one) with a little minced garlic (and salt?).

Edit: Or sugar snap peas?

??(or exvoo?) extra virgin?? If you wish.

About a tablespoon of garlic - in oil first to infuse it (don't let it get too brown) - then peppers, last snow peas. Saute - medium-low heat, about a minute between ingredients; it's not stir-fry!!

Edit: Or sugar snap peas? Your pref.

heh... we are a spicy bunch.

I also like fresh green beans. My Dad makes some that are awesome. Chop a little bacon, fry it up. leave a little bit of grease. Add a little water, put in the green beans & cover on a low to med heat to steam them. Adds a little bit of cinnamon in there somewhere. not much, just an itty bitty bit.

I think there is another ingredient, but I can't remember what. *shrugs*

on a different food topic: has anyone ever tried this beef jerky? I've always wondered about it. Beef jerky is freaking expensive though

Even the kind you buy at Wal-Mart is expensive.

Beef Jerky is a purely impulse, in the mood for, purchase for me.

And no, I have never purchased this kind. I did see some bad reviews in the product thread last time. Haven't looked at it this time.

Same here although the last time I bought some was Costco.

Been awhile since we've bought beef jerky, but that's because we usually just make our own these days. Sooo much better than the chopped and formed "jerky" and so much cheaper than commercial sliced and dried stuff.

Since I don't have the kind of phone to get Twitter, I might just as well delete it.

Woo! (That's only half a woo-hoo!)

Managed to grab a happy hour Bowl of Cereal on the wife's account, but mine got rejected (I actually got the "your order is NOT in" page) for some reason. Clicked the buy button on mine only a couple seconds after hers! Maybe I typoed my CC vilification?

I don't have a twitter-phone either. But I did notice on the item description for the GPS a notice that happy hour was going on, so I then went to the happy hour page and was manually refreshing from there.

So much for being a mod.
I think the email said the happy hour was last week.
I didn't even know there was one.
Not that I got it the last time and I hit the button as soon as it showed up. Got to the very last page too.

I'm barely following the woot off and only following this much because of how difficult Ver3 is being so I can't work on anything else.

I did the same.

Looked away for about 15 - 30 seconds. Long enough that I didn't get a Bowl of Cereal. Got all the way through the order, only to be denied with a not enough inventory message.

le sigh....

Where have I heard that before?

I have my last lecture tomorrow. I'm passing out the study guide in class. I was going to put it on line but decided- why should I give people a study guide who skip the last scheduled class before the final exam?!?

mabe even go a bit further... reveal one or more of the questions during class. tell 'em not to tell anyone else, because you're rewarding them for being there.

Yes, it's our DVR solution in our bedroom. Had to scab an old drive from an old computer, so it's a bit loud and only has 80GB, but it works.

Nah, go one better, show the complete answer for one question that will be on the exam, but is not on the study guide and highly recommend that they understand it.
