Nah, homework was mostly useless busy work, and an almost constant - every day or week or whatever. Those papers are usually one or two only for the class and well documented at the beginning of the class.

Maybe it's just the crappy school system I went to in primary school was heavy on meaningless homework, that by the time I actually got around to having homework that meant something I didn't mind as much.
