Afternoon everybody. Another day of testing cars. Crossed the Edge, Escape and Explorer off my list. Drove the Journey, which was okay except that the headrests were really uncomfortable. Liked the Equinox better. Then I drove a Caravan. Felt like I was coming home. Guess I'm stuck with a minivan for the rest of my life.

We had a warm spell, it's just back to wet and blowing, probably because we have a birthday party planned outside for tomorrow. I did include a rain out location, but you know. . .

Jealous! That sounds wonderful.

2 more hours of me and they baby, then it's taking Ver1 shopping, frosting a cake, dinner (might do dinner before cake), get kids in bed, finish cake, work on new laptop, wrap presents, bed, put kid back in bed, bed, etc.

I'd love if there was a book in there somewhere, or even sleep.

It's Friday isn't it? I know this, I know tomorrow is Saturday, but the fact that tonight is Friday just doesn't seem to make logical sense.

Ver1 wanted me to tell you she can read all of "caps". (Ver2 shouts every time "our monkey" is in the pictures too) and she can read all except the really hard words, in Noisey Nora, so thank you very much! We've been trying to get her interested in doing more than complaining about not being able to read. She knows what she needs to do it, she just needs more practice.

I read to my kids, when they let me. Sometimes they just like to sit with the books themselves, trust me I have memorized many kids books.

Probably so. Ver1 picked out an Amelia Bedelia book for her friend's birthday so maybe soon we'll get beyond memorizable books soon.

Seems they monkeyed with the log-in process. I had to clean out my browser cache and log in, and there was a funky new window to log into.

4 1/2 hours is a long time to wait for an answer.

That sounds like no life.

I'm just sitting around waiting for emails or something new to show up.

It's in a plastic bin. A raccoon probably could steal it, but I can't imagine why it would want to. However, there's one (or more) that are emptying the hummingbird feeders that are going to have to be relocated.

You put food in their backyard and then make them move when they eat it?
Doesn't seem fair.

i think zero to the zeroth power does not equal 1. i think it may be undefined.

x^(n-m) = x^n / x^m

if n=m, then x^(n-n) = x^0 = x^n / x^n = 1. except when x=0, cuz your not s'posed to divide by zero.

Have driven and/or sat in six crossovers and felt far more comfortable in the minivan. I did sit in my s-i-l's Nissan Quest (almost forgot about that) and didn't care for it.

My mom went from astro van to chevy blazer, I guess they felt similar enough to her. Did you try a the cross-over or SUV for the company that makes your van?

I think husband's going to secretly hate this car. He still is of the school not to get power windows or locks "because it's just one more thing to go wrong." And this one has power sliding doors, a power hatchback and remote start.

Yeah, drove the Journey today. That was just about my least favorite, but mainly because I thought the headrests were really uncomfortable.
Also, almost no leg room at all in the back seats and I'm occasionally there if we're taking my m-i-l somewhere.
